His father was buried last week.

Clubs are filled with ex prisoners

Anyone got a handle on Peter Healy? He missed the AI semi final against Dingle, having been named to start. Must have pulled ip in the warm up!

Would be huge asset if he could shake off a bad run of injuries.

A Grade A player imo, we are not coming down with players of that calibre.

Kevin Small impressed me, say hes first choice MF. Just needs to build fitness bank. Also I predict Sean ONeill will be a county star by the end of this season. Terrific player.

Clean bill of heath for the opener this weekend ?

There was a meeting last night of the fixtures committee.

They still haven't released any dates or confirmation of anything yet.

Heard that they will allow 4 rounds of fixtures to be played out for underage leagues before they confirm whos in each respective championship.

After the messing last year of clubs chopping changing their minds to ask to go up or down they want to give clubs a few games to see where they are. Last year they had to redo them three times with the requests to move.

Havent see the master planner yet but expect to see something appear in February, much like last year, with the dates on them.

Thought I'd seen dates with the weekend of the 14th March?

Not a bad idea with the 4 rounds, but have to correct you - it was the CCC who made a balls of the underage draws last year. They sent out forms to clubs where they choose their level, A,B etc. They then ignored what level a good few clubs chose. Three draws it took them to do it right! Hoping lessons have been learned.

Some one did post that start date before St Patricks day but again there was nothing sent to the clubs to confirm this. I asked about it at our club meeting last monday night and they hadnt heard anything about potential starts for league.

It would make sense based on last year that D1 would start early again.

You would hope so. It would make sense to see where clubs are after a few rounds of league games and then see if the placement is right.

Did I hear that the county was asking clubs what division they were looking to play in? Those on the border between 1 and 2, anyone else?
