He is no role model for any of the kids I coach. His discipline on the pitch in the past has shown that also.

I neither agree or disagree with you here. Im not sure of the correct answer here or how Antrim/a club disapline a player who is disaplined through the correct manner and brought before the courts and punished accordingly.

I noticed you have 14 posts and 10 of them are directly linked to this case though. Im not sure venting your frustration in a forum really achieves anything. Possibly airing your concerns with secretart/county rep and bringing it to attention at a higher level instead of on here?

Couldn't agree more.
Antrim or the GAA itself would have to give a response.

It was yourself in a previous post that stated it's not a good move for Antrim GAA which I was replying to.

Your right I don't think it's a good move but i also think that if you were to write to Antrim or the GAA they'd have to give a response . That's what I meant by couldn't agree more

Who would you write to? The Chairman?

No just curious if any were provided by Antrim GAA.

Historically this has not gone well for the GAA in these types of instances, just wondering if any lessons have been learned.

To change the subject...

Anyone head to Cargin yesterday, i was at it brave crowd think 1500 people. Which was good to see,

On the footballing side; there wasn't much to shout home about. The second time watching them and looked very leggy again like the previous post maybe underfoot conditions had it's part to play in that but the lads still didn't look to be up and running at all.

In the first half i thought Antrims full back line were very strong and played well. A lot of Antrims pace is in them positions and it seemed to be lacking once we went further out the pitch. Antrim probably on another day get 2 goals chances from Paul Bradley and Connor Small.

Antrim set up defensively strong they looked hard to break down but once they forced a turnover or a shot dropped short they weren't breaking out of defence with much urgency definitely an area for improvement. Breaking out in 1s&2s rather than a collective.

The only part of yesterday besides the shoes getting destroyed that annoyed me was; the subs, why not give as many lads yesterday a good 15-20 minutes as it'll be there last game before Carlow. Antrim's well established players already know there fate, why not give the young lads a chance to play against Donegal and show off what they can do.

I thought the team did reasonably well as much superior opposition yesterday. Oisin Doc put in a great shift as did conor s, and sean o'n and ronan looked good when introduced. Still very light in natural scoring forwards, plenty of endeavour but little true quality, hopefully enough to get us out of Div4.

They should have more than enough to get out of div 4 this year, i can't see 90% of teams turning Antrim over, Carlow is a massive almost season defining match for the rest of the league campaign.

Anyone know where the Ballymena men where besides Kennan yesterday haven't seen many on the two match day squads, and is the players that played the last two games in Antrims final squad for the season?

I'd say if any they will be a personal reference rather than one from the county itself?

Not talking about this case, I don't know the lad so wouldn't comment either way, but..

References are not about the incident and what happened or after.. Its a character reference on who that person is generally, that is not taking away anything that happened of course

Heard that terrible news, but i know hes stepped away from the panel as early as November he stepped away but there was more than him and keenan on the panel?

Yeah hence my question, but maybe they won't make public who if anyone did.
