Ladies football has grown a lot in the last 10 yrs around SW Antrim and indeed into N Antrim.

But are the majority not girls who were with Moneyglass because there was no team at their own club?

Hopefully they can get over the line and do SW and N Antrim proud.

Or just Antrim would suffice
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

can raise an eyebrow to all of that, if they can get close with the Galway side it'll be some step up. Winning would be a different level altogether.

Of course for Antrim too but I was meaning their local communities.

NorthAntrimSaff

Have they also a paid manager? Surely not too many in Antrim have that?

Saffsof82

Congratulations to Moneyglass ladies, some performance, and as one of the founding clubs of Antrim LGFA a very proud moment for all Antrim gaels, never mind the naysayers , we seem to have them in abundance unfortunately

I seen Donegal Ladies football X account posting a congratulations message to their manager so i made the same conclusion as yourself that they have a paid manager.

Id guess there isnt many paid managers/coaches in ladies football or camogie in the county.

Maxi Curran from downings is their manager I seen pictures on facebook with the team , I'd say he is costing them a pound or two but if he is delivering can you argue it

You would be surprised, I have heard of managers getting paid in Div 2/3 LGFA in Antrim, paying someone to coach girls that can't kick the ball 30 yards  :(
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

At least 2 paid managers with them? Charlie O'Kane and Maxi Curran

ronan hamill with glenavy

Yeah I'd heard this a few weeks ago. Paddy Nuggent might be in as a coach but no change in manager.

If Ronan Hamill is in at Glenavy then St Paul's have appointed their new manager also going by the reports on here last week.

Who else is still looking? Solo and Go with his ear to the ground

I've heard St Pauls have now appointed. Not heard anything on Rossa, Sars or St T yet.
