Yeah I heard it was the football

That'd be great. (also the hurling would be great too  ;D ) Maybe they can tweet the live scores then too  ;D

I would say that game yesterday will have done Cargin the world of good. I didn't see Dunloy but they'd need to not be as open defense wise as Creggan were. Cargin will probably have learnt a lot. Some would say they got out of jail but they were probably the better team though just about.

Hard to see Dunloy beating them. Be interesting to see what happens for them in the hurling.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Dunloy. It would be an upset but I do think they're capable

The streaming numbers would be higher in the hurling than football I would say
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Just cant see it.  May make a fist of it for a while but see Cargin pulling away.  I think it will be very like the final of 2 years ago.

Around the glens

The breach call on Friday night was brutal. If dunloy lost that game by a point, the new rules seem to have brought more room for error.

Cargin rightly favourites but dunloy better coached and set up than 2 years ago. They've already met in the group and will know what each other will be bringing.

PG1 got their 5th place finish in league secured and a 4th place finish in championship not a great year for the challengers and John Mac and his wealthy backroom team have stepped away today.

Hard to see where they go from here.

Just don't seem to be a Championship club.

I would say that's a bit harsh. They are pretty much in the top four in the county which isn't bad. There are just better teams than them.

I'd say this is a fair assessment.

For a single code club I would be questioning that if I were them. But maybe top 4 is good enough.

Take the Mark

I'd claim that those are some harsh words written towards JMK, he is easily Portglenones most successful manager surely?

I dunno about this... Everyone wants to be better but if you're there or thereabouts to top four and you get to the semi finals it isn't a failure. Dunloy are a good team and beat St Brigids too who some people might have fancied to go and win it this year (I think they have a good bit to go but that's an aside). Yes I'm sure they would want to do better but it's not a monumental failure.

Dunloys pace seemed frightening on Friday night , the athleticism of those lads is amazing to watch.

I think the final will serve up a tasty one! Is it in Corrgian?
