Who of the current panel have Galls recruited in?

They have had a couple of very good U21 teams over the last 4 years or so that I thought were the basis of their revival?

Duine Inteacht Eile

Some of the U21s were from outside the county.

On another note and nothing to do with the Cargin game just from being at different games this weekend, but the advantage rule isn't an advantage rule, its a second chance.
Soccer do the advantage rule correct if there's a foul ref plays advantage if you get a shot away that was your advantage. Football you get a free shot at goal and if you miss you get the free, the length of time the advantage is allowed to run for too is insane.

Yep, I have been preaching this for a long time. Gaelic football has the advantage rule all wrong.

Good point actually. When I'm coaching, I always try to let my players know they have an advantage so they can try a shot or a ball into the square to see if we can get something from it as I know if it doesn't work out we get the ball back anyway. Never really thought about whether that should be the case or not.

Cargin
Creggan
Portglenone
St Brides

All wont be beat , now that's 2 tasty semi finals coming up. Open draw for semis?

Yes Brigids by 8-10 points. Their Lavey contingent are motoring well, they have the best panel in the county now by a stretch.

There's only one Downey on the team... do they have other Lavey players?

Its Cargin again at a canter this year
Hopefully they will make a better fist of Ulster.

St. Galls to beat Portglenone

That would not be a shock. PG1 are favs but I'm not sure if they are progressing from where they were.

Expand... why ?..

Galls have gone deep into the transfer market to strengthen as they have done in years previous taking key players from us promising them senior football until they get better recruits in. was at the game yesterday they played ok  however heavily reliant on two 40 year olds still.

I cant believe it! St Galls in transfers shock!

Saffrongael

It was some collapse by St Galls at the weekend
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

NorthAntrimSaff

St Brigids improve...Lavey. Portglenone.. Enda Lynn. Now its St Galls turn. Every club has recruits

Don't think Dunloy will be as wasteful next time round!

BigGreenField

Is Smith for Dunloy a short term absence?

Hectic

Can't see past Cargin, St Brigids, Portglenone and Creggan coming through.

Be happy to be wrong.

St brigids and portglenone not really tested yet and are the two favourites with most potential to get caught you would think. Like others say hard to see cargin beat. Definitely interesting set of fixtures.

Not matter, Cargin will do enough to win.
You can talk about other teams but it's another Cargin procession to a county title.

Hectic

Certainly have all the know how.

Only thing that would put any doubt in my mind is the new rules and if they have the potential to impact.

Time will tell.
