Having paid for the stream of tonight's game the volume has had to be put to zero. County should ask for a discount on whatever fee is being charged for every basic error in understanding off the rules or whatever is happening on the pitch.

Darren mckeown very sore on tnn tonight

Dunloy getting a lot of soft frees

Great game so for from both teams slight wind in favour of tnn in the first half,

Dunloy 2-9
Tnn 1-6

Scoreline suggests Dunloy didn't have things all their own way this time. Poor showing from them or resting some key men?

Expected a tight affair from All saints and St.Galls but still fancied Ballymena. St.Galls a dark horse? I've not seen them in 2 years but heard good things. I'm anticipating Lamh dhearg putting up a stiff test tomorrow. Never write them off.

Everyone in dunloy knew that wasn't going to be a walk in the park, tir na nog put it up to cargin in cargin for a brave while and that game yesterday was as good as knockout. If tir na nog won they wouldve fancied beating st John's, dunloy would have to of beat cargin then.

Quote from: Hectic on August 15, 2025, 09:28:56 PMAghagallon made short work of St Paul's then - I thought it would have been more tricky given their struggles this season and the venue.  But again highlighting how little can be taken from league form.

St Paul's are a D2 team in reality, not on the same level as the proper D1 teams like Aghagallon et al.

Most results as expected but some tighter than expected. Ballymena out so will be disappointed. Tnn look better than people thought but just two tough games. Glenravel aldergrove looked like it was in the balance until late on.

St endas drawing with moneyglass probably biggest surprise result in intermediate.

Glenravel against aldergrove wasn't a classic. Aldergrove were right in it until injury time and a late goal and 2 points put a bit of gloss on it for glenravel.  Aldergrove got a man sent off in 1st half with 1 glenravel man black carded in the same skirmish.Aldergrove got a 2nd red card a few minutes from time too. Glenravel  have went backwards a lot since they won the intermediate a few years back, aldergrove could be in serious diffs if they end up in the relegation playoffs.

You would imagine portglenone would beat them and they would be in playoffs.

Don't think either of the older two Hynds brothers are playing for them, which is obviously a miss
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Is head to head a thing in the league standings? If so aldergrove and St Paul's would be in playoffs then st johns randalstown and ld ballymena are basically relegation quarter finals. Glenravel and Rossa a knockout then too basically and aghagallon have a , small, chance. Bottom end of tables more interesting than top.

Quote from: Take the Mark on August 17, 2025, 09:46:50 PMMade it to Corrigan today and witnessed the most scandalous red card in recent history. Spectators from both sides completely bamboozled. Hope the man that made that call is proud of himself this evening. And it wasnt the referee who had a fine game. (Nor was it his linesmen before he starts  ;D  )

Who was it then ?

Still the usual suspects really when we get to championship.

With the exception of St John's who seem to be the fallers and Dunloy offsetting that in recent seasons.

But nobody new looking capable of coming into the knock out mix.

All points to a smaller Senior championship going forward and a subsequent stronger Intermediate championship behind it.
