Is this a game of football or pass the f**king parcel??

Well done Cargin.

One to forget for everyone else.

Slemishgael

Well done Cargin.
Hard luck Pg1.
Exciting enough final!!

There we have it Cargin, All Saints and Antrim all through to Ulster.

Good luck to all 3

Cargin gonna Cargin, PG1 really put the bodies on the line tbf, lacked the firepower to really get over the line.  Thought Cargin where only in about 3rd gear today tbh, they were a bit flat,  they will be delighted with the win but if say disappointed with the performance.  Enjoyed the game despite it being a low scoring encounter

Spike

Cargin didn't play well and still won.   Say it all really.

Duine Inteacht Eile

Yip. The quality in the county is very poor. I suppose the question is are Cargin actually better than what they've produced recently? That's a couple of games now with question marks over their performance.

Hopefully they can shake it off for a rattle at Ulster.

Milltown Row2

Cargin meeting possibly the Tyrone or Donegal champions is a decent draw, the Tyrone ones who put more effort into their league will be lucky to get past St Eunan's

Few weeks to clear up any injuries and prepare for Ulster
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

A highly entertaining final but agree, low quality. Both sides made bad decisions in and out of possession. PG1 will be kicking themselves especially over missed frees in second period of extra time. Some of Cargin's most effective players were the old hands again. KOBO still a class act after all these years, and Mick. Hard luck Casements, took the game to Cargin from the first whistle.

Good luck to Cargin in Ulster.

The ref allowed serial bouts of over carrying to go. It is shocking the cargin keeper got away with a few as did many other players. He reffed like it was a game of hurling lads just charging into contact taking 20 steps

Spike

Cargin's main players are still the best players in the county. Kobo still the best defender in the county.  Our county captain was schooled by Mick McCann. Cargin had more legs than those supposedly young fitter faster PG1 players in extra time.

Feels like it's hard to please everyone. We've had an exciting county final that was tight but because Cargin won many on this board are gutted.

He is a hurling ref.

The man who should have reffed it was writing on this board.

Hard to see Cargin beating any of the Donegal or Tyrone champions though.  They will be of much higher quality than anything in Antrim right now.

Missed frees cost Portglenone over the 80 minutes, 4 or 5 scoreable ones that weren't converted. V costly in a low scoring game

People were complaining about the quality of football on show today throughout the game, before there was a winner so I'm not sure how you arrive at that conclusion. But if that narrative suits you, work away.

One or two when they had the slight breeze at their back were missed v costly. I was surprised Enda Lynn didn't hit the frees for the left footer. He scored 2 nice ones from play
