To be fair I think many of city folk are happy to see our the bt9 contingent go! It'd be like England winning the world cup, you'd never hear the end of it! I also noticed that noone picked up on Mickey's score at the beginning of the game, was a 2 pointer and only 1 was given! Then we were chasing 2 points at the end of the game instead of 1 for a draw. Anyhow, we had our chances! Be nice to see dunloy do the double however and 'hate' to say it. I think Cargin have too much

First score of the game? Noticed it at the time and just watched it back now, it was about 5 yards outside the big arc, not even close. Thats the biggest reffing error of this years championship, hopefully it won't be repeated.

I wondered at the time was it not given as the ref thought the keeper palmed it over the bar. Big error

But can we get back to talking about Lavey sorry St Brigids

Ryan has been in Dunloy since he was 14 when he played hurling only. When he left minor he decided himself to stay at the club.

Aodhan came to play hurling at underage, like his younger brother James, as Ballymena didn't offer it to them at the time. They had a fall out with their own club and it ended up in them deciding to make a permanent transfer.

I dont remember when James started to play for us. Hes been there forever it seems. He lives in Dunloy as well i think?

I dont see these lads as blow ins

Conor Kinsella& Deaglan Smith have been in Dunloy since they were kids when their families moved from Belfast, that isnt seen as being a blow in

I can't see St Galls appealing that though they can feel really hard done by for sure. There were other decisions that did not go their way also, but something so basic as this one could be critical to any teams championship hopes.

No fall out and Aodhan didnt play a minute of underage for Dunloy
Rasharkin and Dunloy are next door neighbours. Id say half of Rasharkins members have a Dunloy postcode. He moved in 2022 or 2023..hardly forever?

Moving from Belfast to Dunloy is a different matter, similar to these "professionals" moving into south belfast and joining the local club??

Are Bredagh and Carryduff the most hated clubs in Co Down out of curiosity?

Saffrongael

It's always framed as a "fall out" when a parent just wants to bring their kids to a more successful club
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Last 4 of the SFC are from the south west, obviously the semi finals will be held in the locality with Dunsilly being a sure bet for one of them at least. But the final, should it be the same? Or is it all hands up to the city again? 1 final appearance from city teams in 8 years now...

Last time Cargin and Creggan played they had it in St Endas so you never know.

Unfortunately I remember that one  >:(

Dunloy V Portglenone should be in Ahoghill. Cargin V Creggan should be in Portglenone.

Final in Ahoghill, the price of fuel and everything else we should be forced to drive to the City.
