Pocs pints and the gaa

Aghagallon have some amount of representation for a team that's nowhere near the top end of club football.

Near enough an in house game for Armagh at this rate.

ONeill

Mon Antrim. Bring Sam home.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Does representing Antrim make you out to be a good club player? Walsh at full back wouldn't lay a glove on you.

Perhaps they hope that some knowledge of how to play football will have travelled from Aghagallon's neighbours.
MAGA Make Armagh Great Again

Jesus lads what a bunch of keyboard warriors. The lads are doing their best. I don't see anyone else stepping up to make a difference to antrim. Tell me who should be playing for antrim v Armagh. Antrim is being let down by the county board. Casement is a disgrace , the leagues are a disgrace. A tick box exercise. Do the same stuff , get the same results. Fair play to the lads for putting on the jersey. Until things change at the top nothing will change .

Listened to a podcast type thing by  Armagh fans on twitter last night which included a couple of Antrim 'fans' in Kevin McGourty and yer St Johns man that does GAA Stats whom referred to a Keavy Canavan as a great player with great strength and pace for Antrim.

what are the thoughts on the +12 handicap??

To be honest, that flatters Antrim a bit.  If Armagh bring their A game for 70 mins they'll win by 20+.

I agree with you here Pub Bore , as much as I don't want to see it I can see 20+ , you see what they have done to Derry etc , especially with the 2 pointers

I'd take your arm off for -11 they should run through us today looking at league and form in championship. That being said I hope we really go out and go at them with that forward line I think we could cause them a bit of bother. Hopefully I'm wrong about the -11 😁

A few lads will be deleting posts pretty soon.

Was a brave performance today so credit due to the boys.   Armagh coasting and overdoing the want of a goal but take the positives and the 2 point shooting was encouraging.

McBride said it best in that we need out of Div 4

marty34

Antrim should stop 'celebrating' one half performances and talking about getting up the leagues....when they've dropped down to Div. 4.

All soundbites.

I don't think the players were celebrating at the end
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Pub Bore

Fair play to the players and backroom team. Can hold their heads high. Brilliant first half!

Away back to your Xbox.

Couldn't fault a single player today, everyone gave it all for that jersey.

A strong performance and players emptied the tank, any failings are those of the county and clubs over 20 years that equipped players with their skills.

Some could have/should have at key moments (and Barry Cassidy doing Barry Cassidy things both ways), plenty of time for post mortems however acknowledge the team went toe to toe with AI Winners.

we are reaching the stage that "head injuries" need 10 mins off field check (with blood sub), the amount of feigning was ridiculous.

Brutal that as home team Antrim had a small minority of tickets, if we want to encourage the growth of the game then that is a back room deal that shouldn't happen again.
