What age is Aodhan now? He was my favourite Antrim player at a time and I swear that was about 20 years ago.

imtommygunn

Must be 40 give or take 1 or 2 years.

Aodhan using that considerable experience well, has had a great career.  Pollock must be looking sharp again if match reports are to be believed.

A couple of sad parishes lamenting the loss of valued club members, with requiem mass and burials tomorrow. Rest in Peace Mickey Kelly (Casements) and Ryan Straney (Lamh Dhearg).

Ar dheis De go raibh a n-anamacha.

Very true BS. Times like this make us appreciate life and just how fragile it is.

The draw for Tailteann Cup is on this afternoon, we are second seeds.

From the first seeded teams I hope we don't get Down again, be even happier with Kildare, especially if we play them in Corrigan. Fermanagh would be a good Seed 1 team to get too.

All of which means we will probably get Down!

The only one you didn't mention....Sligo!

Plus Wexford and Tipp.

Tough enough group. Wexford are not a bad side. You would still hope we go through. Tipp have fell away a lot so hopefully that continues...

Spike

Weakest Tailteann Cup list since its inception so expecting a final appearance as a minimum

Agree, could have been easier but we beat Wexford away last year and should be fit to beat Tipp at home. Sligo in a neutral venue isn't too daunting either. Need some first choice players back from injury 🤞

imtommygunn

Yeah - you'd be hopeful we'd go through. I don't think the final appearance as a minimum is a reasonable expectation mind you. Knockout stages and see how we go from there. Same standard as any year tbh so it's a good test to see whether we've made much progress.

All teams in that group will expect to beat all teams in that group.

Stating the obvious 😉
