Television is amazing. Virtually every other form of human activity improves and develops as we learn and get experience in its use.

Remote control for me anyday. TV (obviously) a close second. No time for a chicken and egg philosophical debate though. Not sure TV is a gadget though.

TV is not a gadget, it's an appliance. Nobody calls the Fridge a gadget, and that's more important than the TV.

I think gadgets have to be small, knacky things in my mind anyway. The iPhone is a gadget, the netbook is a gadget, I don't think the TV or a desktop computer is a gadget.

Not one mention of the Guinness Widget. The brits obviously changed their minds on that one. They were big fans a few years ago...
