The people driving this Neocolonialist bus are full on Israel first. The west has been completely subverted by Zionists. They are using our taxes to do their bidding. Western populations don't want any this.

It wouldn't matter whether I question it or not you or I have absolutely no input, so it's completely wasted energy/effort.

Knowing or not knowing will change nothing, there is not one government that will listen to the population with regards to proxy wars going on.

It's admirable to fight the fight on an anonymous GAA discussion board but telling people, throwing up links to this that and the other is doing nothing.

Assad and family have arrived in Moscow, Tass reports
Former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad has arrived in Moscow with his family after fleeing the country, Russian state newswire Tass reported on Sunday, citing a source in the Kremlin.

So we have an Islamist outfit (magically appearing 2 weeks ago) virtually unopposed in taking power? No or little  Government army?
Something smells!

In the meantime I'd advise those Syrian girls in Ballaghadereen to hold off on going home just yet.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

It's definitely not a goodies and baddies story. Time will tell who the better option was.

Assad paid the troops $10 a month and the officers $30. Even in Syria that is not much use. They would have been better learning Russian and taking Putin's bonus pay in the Donbas.

Syria is a basket case, the Islamic state is 10% worse than Assad, who was/is a complete Cnut. None of these places will ever have a democracy based on religion/race being the deciding factor

I just saw a  Syrian post about the North "it is a basket case. None of these places will ever have a democracy. It's all based on religion/race being the deciding factor "

Banks of the Bann

Lots of Syrians absolutely elated at the fall of Assad.

Don't they know brutal dictatorship, as prescribed by western 'leftists', is good for them?

Have the crimes of Assad been explained but not endorsed yet?

Syria is a really complex place, someone (Benny I think) had a good explanation, and while others from different parts of the place may view it differently Assad leaving brings a lot of uncertainty going forward, that area has tried to be 'fixed' for thousands of years, won't be 'fixed' in my lifetime

I'm fairly sure that those Syrians that are ecstatic at the fall of the butcher Assad are aware of the complexity of the situation in Syria.

Banks of the Bann

Can anybody on the board explain (but not endorse) why Russian forces in Syria spent years systematically bombing hospitals in areas not under butcher Assad's control?

But for someone sitting on the banks of the Bann they'll know how complex and deadly it is than you..
