Seemingly that Morgan lad is the next one to jump ship, although his performances with the bat in the Windies have been ppor enough so far. England probably wouldn't bother with him in that form. They have enough lads that can get out for 16. Expect a good innings from him on Friday to try and raise his profile.

Morgan's only 20 - i.e. 8 years younger than Joyce, so still plenty of time for him to prove if he's up to "England standard" or not.

I dont see anything wrong with it personally, its a professional sport and they are doing their best to further their careers. Good wedge for playing test cricket with England - like Carney playing for GB in rugby league. If Ireland ever attain Test status you'd like to think that any Irish lads playing for England would come back to play for Ireland.
