Didn't know where to put this so I thought here was as good as anywhere. So here goes, decent enough game in Thurlas today, the football was poor but both teams went at it and the comeback by Tipp ensured the crowd got into it. I thought there was more than 4,600 at it myself but the crowd was definitely small and as I said elsewhere the GAA folk of both counties should be ashamed. Limerick as I suspected proved they are the better team but Tipps fine comeback in the second half should that this young team is improving and Tipp are definitely going in the right direction. If Tipp get a soft draw in the first round they could trouble a few teams yet.
