I hope we don't get any of those "who can stop ......" threads in 2011

For us Rossies looking forward to the trip to New York in May  :)

As requested.

Ros are currently 200/1 to win Sam. Only 9 points worse than the 2010 champions and the ladeens from 2006 will be a year older now. Nothing in Connacht to stop them and Kerry, Tyrone and co in decline.

Get on them now before the bookies wake up.

Mucho facepalms to those who don't.

Yes, i'd say that Roscommon have a fair enough chance of getting promotion from Div. 4 in the next couple of years. :) :) :)

Fantastic job troll job by Muppet (as expected)

Did you get over the championship Knock out by a Division 4 team yet?

Stay on topic please.

Surely you will be stronger next year with the likes of Kilbride to come back in?

Mayo blood didn't do Dermot Earley's Ros career any harm did it?

I honestly think that while muppet has some sort of devilment up his sleeve, Roscommon won't want to part with the Nestor Cup too easily. As ross4life pointed out there was only 9 points in it at the end of the Cork game. Galway are in a kind of decline, Mayo seemed to have bottomed out, Leitrim will huff and puff as usual, so I can only see Sligo beating them in Connacht next year, but they don't beat Ros in the Connacht championship. I think Ros will have learnt their lessons from the quarter-finals and progress to the last 4 where anything is possible.
Inaugural Football Championship Prediction Winner.

Forgive me was thinking of the current Mayo setup where the best/strongest player is a Sligo player

2007 is only 3 yrs ago, Roscommon 2-5 Sligo 0-13

We're still team building and won't be a serious threat to anyone  (economic circumstances permitting) till around 2013 at the earliest. :-\
