Does it feel like an All Ireland Final is approaching?

Hard to argue with Trout's point but I would say that trout, the newbee, would probably have made the same comment in 94 and 91.
Doesn't matter to us as long as the bacon comes home, as it will. ;) :D ;D .  I love the sound of SIX.

Lads dont rise to these begrudging k.nobs. That trout clown has posted another thread also.

Obviously no lives of their own.
I have said all along that Down will haveto win this All Ireland to get any credit and if we do then say whatever the hell you want cause the stats will say it all.

The Trout won't be watching the final in any event he'll be glued to repeats of the x-factor on itv2.

Have you seen some of his posts the man is obsessed with Simon Cowell maybe that's who he gets his knowledge of GAA from.

I don't know where the Trout hails from but suspect it's from a county no longer involved in the business end of what has probally been the most entertaining championship for a long time. Neutrals are rejoicing.   That might explain why he is feeling excluded from the real AIF atmos.

Trout, if you are genuinely seeking AIF atmos just take a tour around the beautiful Mourne country.  If the colour on display doesn't change your opinion then stop and have a chat with the warm, welcoming, humble and knowledgable GA folk you will meet there. To get you off to a good start begin in Hillsborough.  You will then find need for an AIF atmos totally staisfied.
Bye the way, have you secured your ticket yet and if you get one, althought I suspect you are at the no-hopers side of the waiting list, yo can give it to me as I can find loads of people who are totally wired into the AIF atmos.?

I think Down have been a breath of fresh air. 5 of the 6 forwards are quality players and they are also smart enough to play Dan Gordon at fb. Just like Tyrone did with McAnallen to win their first. If Down win it they deserve it. Cork should have cantered this championship but have struggled. Down have shown more class and willingness to play football. As usual the press is behind in all this as well. This Down team has done some special things this summer and can nail the final as well. Gaelic football is a strange sport. Most counties talk shite about rebuilding. Down have the ability to strike when the iron is hot. This year they have enough quality to win it out just like that.

Plenty of pubs on Harcourt Street with the flags out.  Both flags right enough.

My god it just shows u how the media can corrupt the mind of people. All this rubbish about the top 3 in the country is just a pile of shite to fill columns in newpapers and keep people on this borad talkin shite. Down are in the the A.I.F because the beat the teams that were put in front of them. They beat kerry and thats enough for me to say that they deserve to be were they are. What is the top 3 in kerry, is it based on how many games a team has won, how many All Irelands past teams have won.... NO its based on some middled aged men in a studio just talking rubbish to fill the air time. They would safer talking about the top 32 teams in the country. Good luck to Down on Sunday, I hope it is a cracker of a game.

Could this be the first time the crowd is at capacity for the minor game and then leave before the senior?

Could be, would make it quicker up the road afterwards anyway.

Any chance we could leave at the end of the minor game and re-sell our tickets to Down fans outside?

???

perhaps some Tyrone ones will leave after the minors but i cant see many of them travelling anyway
Sure they didnt even support their senior team in the quarters in big numbers

I have a ticket for Sunday and will be tempted to leave after the minor game and watch Senior game in the pub enjoying a few Pints and a quick getaway after. :)

Could not really care less who wins seniors but Cork deserve it more on their form over the last few seasons but that will count for sweet fa on Sunday. I think they will win though.
