That one nearly looked over too. Not looking like Kildare's day. Nothing going their way.

That was so so close, off the post, they should have pointed the rebound.

Great defending by the Lilllywhites, Down should have tried to stick the rebound over the bar, too many white bodies.

Let off for Kildare there now, end to end stuff at the moment, 1-10 to 0-9 for those that need the score
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

Great defensive work by Down, Kildare are having to work so hard for their scores, and every time Down bring it out of defence Clarke is a great outlet, very strong on the ball and always seems to pick out a good pass.

Was about to say down will win easy but big goal for kildare leaves 4 in it 12 left

Schkite

Important point from Coulter there to peg Kildare back a wee bit.

11 steps for the kildare goal - should've been disallowed

Great game... I said it earlier in the week that a lot of people took it for granted Kildare would win. Have to agree with Brolly Down have more natural footballers. It's not over yet but it looks like Downs to lose.

Great exhibition of scoretaking

5mins to go down 1-16 Kildare 1-12

He was fouled so deserved the advantage.  Two gret points fro the Kildare midfielder.
