Imagine if the americans got a held of the GAA.... ;D

Anyone got the combine results? What did Aidan O'Shea do in the 40 yard dash?

mattockranger

According to ESPN Aidan's 40yard time was an unconvincing 4.58

Wicklow scouts were not impressed hence they drafted Kielt in ahead of him

Most suprising Result was the Bench Press, 44 reps by tyrone Half Forward

will to win is important the will to prepare to win is vital

2nd worst time ever.

Still miles ahead of Joe Canning though.

The bould Joe could run faster in his slippers. In fact due to his omnipresence he can actually be in two places at the same time so would automatically get there ahead of anyone else.

The Leitrim Head Coach and General manager should be shot for their pick with Kielt and O'Shea still on the board and many others on the board.

Glad no-one picked any of the other Connacht finalists players so we can keep them all for ourselves. Poor research.

Bensars

Would Martin Clarke of Down not go in as a rookie irrespective ?

I know it hypothetical but think there would be a bit of dealing going on behind the scenes. Some draft players could then be traded for possibly a couple of players from other counties.

I can imagine the excitement in GPA headquarters if this was to be unveiled.

cadhlancian

Tyrone have just traded their 2nd ,3rd and 4th round picks to move up to number one and will select Michael Murphy....4th All Ireland coming up in 8 years! ;D

Of this would only work in a professional system...

With the obvious exception of Murphy, Paul Conroy is the best player on that list. Unreal to think that he is still U-21, having been around the scene for 3 years. Had an excellent league campaign and is pivitol to Galways chances this year

Denn Forever

Didn't someone tell Carlow they could pick someone out side the county?
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

Canalman

Dean Rock, James McCarthy and young McHugh etc  having exempted themselves from the draft by virtue of declaring for father's county under the "son rule".

Nice food for thought there MR.

Sensational news!

The Cork delegate, a Mr. Murphy, has had the draft voided.

A little known rule book was produced and it seems that Cork are entitled to the first 15 picks. As the book was written in Ogham and no translators were available the organisers of the draft said they were not in a position to dispute Cork's claims.
