Sheedy

Brilliant performance by Keane Barry to knock out Kim Huybrechts

SaffronSports

Littler needs to keep the head down. Lots of pressure on him and tough at that age.

SaffronSports

Worlds starting to get to the interesting stage. Josh Rock from Broughshane just beat. Brendan Dolan plays MVG next and then Littler in action later on too

SaffronSports

World champion and world number one, Luke Humphreys is out. Pumped by Peter Wright.

gallsman

Wright was phenomenal.

Neither Littler nor MvG have caught fire yet. Good few of them could win it including, worryingly, Price.

SaffronSports

Price wasn't great earlier. Played in fits and starts but as you say, nobody has been consistently impressive so it's quite open for now.

Maybe Anderson as a dark horse?
As I said above... World champion Luke Humphries blew Littler away in the Players Championship last month and the hype all bout Littler who won't be bate apparently.. go figure 🤔
He won't need to beat him now...

Snakebite was brilliant. Humphries wasn't. Littler not too convincing yet... we'll see is the hype justified. Thanks for remembering my comment 15 days later🎯

Wright got to Humphries a bit but he has brilliant and never let Humphries get going. Think it was the 4th set, at 2-1 up in legs Humphries put massive pressure on his throw with 2 x 180s and looked ready for take off but Wright finished with an 11 darter. Then attacked the throw next leg and with more ridiculously good darts broke throw and won the set to go 3-1. All Humphries could do was laugh. Wright's doubling was as good as it gets.

Very dangerous opponent and everyone has shown weakness so far this tournament but thought Wright looked a little tired in his post match interview. Wonder how much the illness has taken out of him and once the matches go longer than 4 sets, will it effect him stamina wise.

I think those two times Wright didn't go for bull finish sending message to Humphries that he won't make 130+ finish got into his head too. High risk but worked.
MVG rocking tonite... Amend!.. was rocking!... won!

ONeill

Joyce a quare one for the doubles.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

gallsman

Joyce was terrific. Littler was scoring heavily but couldn't hit his doubles and Joyce was punishing him. 35% double success and a high checkout of 68 won't get it done. Incredible final set again to finish it off. 40 odd darts for the lot.

statto

Think it's wide open I wouldn't be touching Litler at odds on for the whole thing. Former champions Mvg, Price and Wright all been there and know how to win. Dobey, Bunting, Aspinall will fancy their chances too.

gallsman

I haven't seen any of Aspinall at all this year but looks like he's been making his way through completely untroubled. Well capable of taking out Littler but the H2H is 7-1 against him or something.
