Antrim 6 behind! Johnny will be a happy camper on here for a while!
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Is this game on BBC iPlayer?

johnnycool

Just back from camogie.

Is this being streamed anywhere?

Not loving how this is going  >:(

SaffronSports

It was meant to be on iPlayer but not sure what happened.

Milltown Row2

No doubt some scenes in Newry as Down score goal to win it!

Oh oh! We can't get past Down.

Fair play to Down, great win and congrats.

But wtf and wtf happens now...

imtommygunn

Balls to that.

I think we still stay up but that's an awful league campaign.

Terrible result even if the game was a dead rubber for both. Fair play to Down. We survive in D1, just about. Hopefully see an improvement in Championship. However, that is an alarming defeat.

How is it?

That Antrim defence doesn't have any stand out defenders like you used to have and wouldn't have put much fear in the Down forwards.
When 19yo Shea Pucci gets 2-2, what does that tell you?

Bring back the Ulster Championship!!

Davy should be shown the door. Replace him now.

Hurlers off to Portugal in a week, should maybe consider a stop off in Fátima.

Antrim Coaster

Down went at Antrim hammer and tongs from the start. CT holding the fort at CHB.

Point for point in the second half. Antrim thought they had it won when Down tore up the right wing,

Donal Hughes cut inside and buried it.

Nothing more than what Down deserved.

Wee Davy needs to get out of Dodge before he does any more damage.

Antrim will probably be playing in the Christy Ring in 2027 and they are nowhere near as good as what they think they are.

Very accurate.

If some of the lads that lined out in defence over this campaign are the best we can do then we are in trouble.  I know Eoin is in the winter of his career but I expect if him and Ryan McGarry were on today it may have been a different outcome.

Is the other Johnson also not a better an option than some of these lads?

Masked might be an option in a wet/ slow pitch , but that has changed in last 2 weeks.

Id be fearful of letting Davy anywhere near that team for the championship. The experiment has failed. He needs to go and go now. I will be very surprised if he can turn the team into a team who will win the Joe McDonagh. Down will definitely have a serious confidence boost after today's match and I'd say The Rock will have the Down lads well tuned in for the Joe McDonagh
