We have the winning pedigree in the competition. We will have their number come the final whistle. It wasn't too many seasons ago we had 4 or 5 lads on the county minor panel, not many clubs can boast that. Our sideline far more clued in as well, match ups and strategies will be way ahead. You can bookmark that.

Loughgiel will win the senior. No bother.
Bump.

Bump.

Hats off to St Johns. They waited a long time for that one, it's a major achievement and hopefully a wider spread of competitive clubs lifts the county. 👏👏

Worthy winners. Big players stood up. Two Johnstons superb and Conal Bohill along with McCallin. Just wondering why the two mckennas lads stopped hurling? I know one had a serious accident. They were good underage prospects

Ryan Mckee and Liam Glackin were superb for Loughgiel today

Na Glinntí Glasa

St John's were the best team for the whole game. They never were behind at any stage and coped much better with the conditions.

Lgiel lacked any sort of ability to break down St John's first half. They were shooting from out wide or just trying to do it on their own at times.

The scenes at the end were brilliant to see for all at St John's. Many years of waiting ended today

Football title in North Antrim and the Hurling title in Belfast. Who could've predicted that

St John's managed the game well. Full value for their victory. Loughgiel are a very young team and a very proud club. They made a real fight of it.

I can't help but feel we constantly undervalue our great game playing the showcase events at times, places and venues that aren't suited to platforming the spectacle it is.

Congratulations St John's and unlucky to Loughgiel. Good game of hurling under very challenging conditions.

Not sure where was a great option today with the weather, though Ballycastle just isn't suitable at this time of the year
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Fair dues to our neighbours I'm sure they'll party all week! Hope they sober up for Ulster, will Peter stay for Ulster or was a Volunteer cup enough?

Now that's said, can't wait to someone else wins it next year 😂

They are straight into the Ulster final so a bit of time to go on the drink

Any merit to this chat St John's have to play the Donegal champions?

SouthOfThe Bann

Great to see a Belfast Club win the Hurling; first time since 2004 is it?

Have they any imports from Hurling Strongholds down the country or are they all home grown Antrim lads?

Yeah they do. They play Setenta in the semi final. Sneill play the Down champs in the other semi final.

Been a few years since 4 teams were in the Ulster SHC. Good to see.

Slaughtneil will be favourites id imagine

No idea what you mean about the venue.

Landed to the game with 50mins to throw ij, got parked with no issue. Into the ground with ticket scanned fast and had a great place to watch the game.

The pitch was in great shape considering it rained for about 5 hours steady.

Where would you have taken it to that could have made life any better.
