Needed to replace Khun and Kyogo, they must have had targets in mind to sign rapidly post qualification, total incompetence to put qualification at risk to save a few beans short term

Idah had his moments but he's never a leading man, OK as a second third backup, caught with their pants down on the valuation, again because they were too cheap to buy him earlier at half the price

There's an abundance of quality players out there at knockdown prices but it takes a lot of work to profile players properly and get deals done, the whole operation has gone soft

The Celtic squad is piss at the minute.

AJ injured, KT not fit, Scales playing left back (he's not as bad as the haters like to pretend) Ralston not 100%, Calmac past it, Yang is a donkey, Hatate and Maeda are playing shite and Forrest at 34 should not be one of the main attacking threats for a club with the ambitions Celtic have. Nygren has shown some positive glimpses and I'm hopeful Balikwisha is thrown straight in on Sunday.

Hopefully Idah's rumoured move to Swansea goes through, best for all parties involved.

Apart from beating the huns and winning domestic titles what ambition do they have?

How Idah made it to the professional ranks is a mystery.

A lot of tough ties there.

''Each club will collect a fixed payment of €18.62 million for reaching the league phase. On top of that, teams will earn €2.1 million for every victory and €700,000 for a draw. The rewards rise significantly in the knockout rounds: clubs advancing to the round of 16 will receive €11 million, while those playing in the playoff tie before the round of 16 will pocket €1 million.

Reaching the quarterfinals will bring in another €12.5 million, while semifinalists will secure €15 million. The finalists at Budapest's Puskás Aréna on May 30, 2026, will receive €18.5 million, with the winner earning an additional €6.5 million in prize money.

UEFA also introduced a ranking bonus system for the league phase, with an initial value of €275,000 per position. The lowest-ranked club will take home that amount, while the highest-ranked side could earn up to €9.9 million extra.''

This is not an easy watch. Half-time I don't think either team had a shot on target. Dreadful standard though considering recent European performances hardly surprising.

A lot of old firms over the past few years have been poor enough quality. High tempo but not much good football. The new Celtic winger should be going direct instead of playing it safe.

Todays game reminded me of the days I watched games on Aertel.

Main Street

Rangers strangely ran out of puff in the 2nd half when with crowd behind them they should've been going in for the kill.

There were some plusses, VAR, did not lose, good CH defending from CCV and Scales, the subs  Shin and Forrest injected a bit more zip into the team albeit the bar was very low when they came on.
Maeda tried.

Rodgers needs to go. If he's an elite manager, then I'm Alex Ferguson.

Tepid and poor...as usual.  Pass back and sideways...and repeat.

Brutal stuff.

Worst Rangers team, especially in defence, in years and Celtic produce that sort of performance. Did their keeper even make a save?

No fight, no passion and no bite.

What Celtic needed before the game was for an 80 year old Celtic fan to go in to the changing room and fire a few home truths at them because the management is clearly not doing it.
