Would agree with the last two posters. from what I saw in Longford on Sat evening - Too much football played, no hunger etc. Boys, we are really proud of your achievements over the last decade. Take a break and give it a right oul lash next year.

You are some bunch of bullshitters down there!!!  :D :D :D :D :D

Whats the capacity of Tralee?

About 15,000 I reckon, gonna pretty packed on Saturday I reckon, not many chickens being counted here in Kerry!

I can tell you the hype around Sligo is unreal. There's people talking about the match that were never at a game in their lives! I reckon there will be a big Sligo support. Its a good job its on TV if Tralee only holds 15k.

In general, this thread suggests otherwise:

To be fair though it's hard to disagree with the opinions expressed in respect of the outcome of the game. And its refreshing that there is some degree of respect being shown to Sligo by Kerry supporters unlike our near neighbours!

Sean, I suppose I'm better tryiing to get a ticket through the club if there is this much interest? I'd hardly get a ticket on the day???

That's bad news about Donaghy.

Very unlucky and hard to see Kerry doing much without him. Daragh isn't going well either by all accounts. Joe could have been right (again).

Highly doubtful that tickets will be distributed through the clubs. I'd say it'll be a pay at the gate job but I'd get there early! Kerry folk will hardly come in huge numbers.

SuperDooperCooper

We have a solid support of about 7000 for home league games.
That will swell by a 3000 for a novell championship match in Tralee.
I would expect 10-11000 of us with 4-5000 coming from Sligo.
Should make for a cracking atmosphere, as earlier posters said - come early.

There seems to be some buzz all right back home. Cant wait to watch it myself. Would take a draw after ET and see what happens in the Park.

Whos the referee? Whats the weather prediction for Sat in tralee?
