Look-Up!

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on January 12, 2026, 08:39:59 AMFinished Stranger Things, this was a show my kids got into when they were kids! They probably only watched 2 episodes and never bothered with it.. Great over all, good journey for them and I'm sure the cast are glad they are finished with it..

I suppose it could be left open for more, I thought the fat kid was hiding something at end lol but maybe not..

Anyways hoping for some new decent sci-fi stuff coming soon

I love a good time traveling type show
Have you watched The Expanse. A series I never heard of but happened upon. Turned out to be much better than I was expecting.

Time travel shows or films are my favourite, but not many good ones about. The last good time travel film I saw was Project Almanac.

Been enjoying some older british Tv shows recently on prime and britbox. Currently very much enjoying Men Behaving Badly!

Run away was nonsensical from the first episode but it got better as it went on

Has anyone watched the Robin Hood series with Sean Bean as the Sherriff of Nottingham? Finished season one, it was refreshing to see Sean Bean survive an entire show for once.

I remember watching this in my younger days - loved it then, but can't remember much about it now.

There was one with Jason Connery in the late 80s IIRC. This series is a 2025 production

Robin of Sherwood was on when I was a lad, so must be 40 years ago. Michael Praed was Robin.

Puckoon

Jason Connery took on the 3rd season after Michael Praed was killed off, or so the internet says. 84-86. Sunday afternoons, good times wrecking about with a sword made of rolled up newspapers and sellotape after the fire had been lit.

Watched a Gentleman in Moscow again, really liked the book by Amor Towles

Actually this is the one I watched, not a Sean bean one.
I must be getting forgetful in my old age

Traitors was good again last night. What is it with all the older women acting like lunatics. That Harriet was playing a good game catching traitors was lining up Rachel and then decided to go to breakfast and act like a deranged maniac and offend a load of people and suddenly just get herself banished lol. I worry for the UK when the detectives and barristers on this game come across so poorly and don't even seem to understand what evidence actually is ;D . Harriet was going to the round table with a dossier of "evidence" against Rachel being a traitor and all she offered was that rachel is acting a bit sus :o

Started watching Atlanta again (aborted it a couple of times), pretty good, some proper belly laughs in it. Donald Glover one of my favourites atm.

In fairness she did say in Uncloaked (the tv podcast) that she lost the run of herself and couldn't stop it lol

Pure bonkers, sometimes its better to get rid of a bad faithful as they are loose cannons lol
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

For the second night in a row Rachel bats away a crazy cat lady.

Harriet was out of order at breakfast, made me want the traitors to win. I was expecting a big flourishing dossier of evidence at the roundtable but it was nothing beyond "I have a gut feeling". If an opposition barrister came at Harriets client with that in cross examination in court she'd have to them to shreds. Rachel needn't have worried. Her random targeting of jade may look a bit weird though.

Edit: just saw someone else made the exact same point!

If Harriet had any sense, she would have played the long game with Rachel if she was so convinced she was a traitor.

Both her and Fiona just lost the plot completely.

And also maybe its just me but I kind of want the traitors to win and have done in all the series that I have watched. Though I don't think Rachel is particularly likeable either really.

JPGJOHNNYG

I always want the traitors to win or the original picks anyway kind of not bothered when it gets to a recruit of a recruit. Rachel is a perfect traitor and very cool under the pressure. Stephen initially looked far too nervous but is now doing well and they are a good team. How long that will last we shall see
