Finally watched (and thoroughly enjoyed) Slow Horses S5. Don't understand the negative of reviews of it at all. Thought it was a significant upgrade on S4.

Sonny Joe

Started to watch Banshee the past week, four episodes in and enjoying it.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

Now that the jungle has ended, I can get back to watching some Netflix  ;D

Started The Beast in Me.  Claire Danes is already doing my head in, with basically the same performance as in Homeland (slightly unhinged).  Matthew Rhys (speaking of the Americans!) has been brilliant as the clever psycho.

Hopefully it continues as it has started.

Aye "Celebrity Jungle" as the wife calls it seriously gets in the way of watching a series every year.

Malcolm in the Middle returning next year.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Started watching Stick - actually quite good so far.
Also started watching Pluribus and can't really decide if it's good yet. Only 2 episodes in.

What I would say, is the Apple TV content has been really top drawer as last while, blowing netflix and prime out of the water imo.

Apple going for a quality over quantity model, and obviously spending big money in doing so, whereas Netflix are also spending big money but are just pumping out a wide spectrum of stuff from cheap to expensive. I dropped Pluribus. Liked the premise but the first couple of episodes annoyed me.

Plenty of shite on Apple as well in fairness, both TV and movies.

We're very lucky over here to have HBO Max. By far the best of the lot of them in terms of quality. Due to launch in Ireland and the UK next spring I think but dunno what all the Netflix/Paramount shenanigans will do to that.

It's typical Vince Gilligan, always the promise of an explosion of activity while continuing to being annoyingly sedate. I've watched the 6 episodes while looking at my phone for the best part, but I'll see it out now.

Wait 5 years and binge watch 3 seasons.

Finished Stick last night. I really enjoyed it - Owen Wilson is just that normal character he always plays, but it's decent easy watching.
