Agree with some posters above that as a neutral Eanetta probably just slightly favoured Loughmacrory a touch, but definitely not a robbery or anything close to it. I think there is a reason himself and Sean Hurson are doing the county games, they are still the best we have even with missing some calls now and again.

Some heart from Trillick, their games with Errigal take on a life of their own sometimes you don't need to be the better team to get over the line. Good to see the back to back streak continue as well, it is some statistic.

Replay on Friday I will go with Lough by a point and they have nothing to fear in final having already been beaten by Trillick on penalties in the not too distant past

Was disappointed in Hurson tonight. On the Trillick penalty he is 20 yards away but goes into his umpires to consult. Make the f**king decision yourself, you are supposed to be the best - don't pass the blame onto an umpire. Some of the umpires I have seen recently you would think have never done it before. The 2 men doing the end that Carmen attacked in the 2nd half were actually embarrassing to say the least. Shockingly poor...one signalling a score, whilst the other waved wide. Laughable to be honest but obviously not.
Imagine training 9 months to get shafted by one of those clowns...

Yeah there's absolutely no need for empires or linesmen, The ref should be expected to see everything himself. Any good referee would completely ignore it if his empire seen a foul for a penalty. No wonder Hurson has never refereed any all Ireland finals.

Quote from: Jerome on October 12, 2025, 09:28:22 PMTalking to a fella in Newell Stores this evening, he was in trying to get the run on yellow label items as match tickets and streaming costs this last three weeks are meaning the kids are having packed lunches instead of school dinners.

Great stuff mate,  hilarious 😂
Any more anecdotes for us?

I was also speaking to a player from Eglish. I said I suppose you are being tortured ahead of the final for one of the free tickets. He told me that they do not get any free tickets for the final. I was gobsmacked, county board wouldn't even give players a few free tickets for their efforts in the championship.

Strange game Trillick and Errigal.
Some moments of real quality within a low scoring game. Errigal didn't make their early 2nd half dominance count

They didn't make use of the trillick black card period at all.

When Gallagher went off Errigal were a point up, when he came back on it was level.

Onthe40

so the back to back failures continue. almost impossible to do now..
Errigal make little boys of Ardboe, everyone talking them up and fast forward a few weeks and their gone, should've been gone the last day if the reffing was at the level it needed to be

Strange game alright, Errigal will prob feel they left it behind.. I don't think both sides were at full tilt but Trillick don't care, they capitalised on their moments of supremacy and that's what counts
I can't see them leaving the final behind but lets see what lough or Carmen can do to upset the script

Ballygawleyftw

Softest penalty I have ever seen.
We will be back #TOWIE

Quote from: omagh_gael on October 12, 2025, 07:44:41 PMCouldn't even get it legit through Tyrone TV, tried to set up account and wouldn't work. Pain in the hole.

Had a similar issue, tried setting up an account a few times but it kept failing to do so without providing any reason. I then made the password longer to try something different and it worked, could have been the case with yourself. Possibly something worth trying in the future to see does it help.

Can't expect the empires to be able to get every call 100% correct, very little room behind them to get a good look at the ball coming in

Trillick V Lough final would be more exciting, hard to see past Trillick though. Lot of experience and some serious threat. McElholms pace is incredible

Grace Murphy

Loughmacrory will be big favourites this week given there complaints to the county board about having to play in Pomeroy Sunday - Dey wanted it in Omagh as it suited there style better - looks like Lough are smiling as venue means Carrickmore are toast mucker.
