Drumragh have missed there chance at beating cookstown.
Now that the town know exactly what there up against on Saturday they will be properly prepared and Drumragh will be in junior football for another year.

Not as if this is cookstown first time playing drumragh this year??
Beat them in the league and should have won last night, I think drumragh the better side.

I agree I think Cookstown will win the replay by 5 points. It probably means Drumragh will remain in Division 3 for the next number of years. You would imagine Fintona and Stewartstown will be stronger than the rest and unless they add playoffs to 3A next year the two up two down will mean there will be a lot of YOYO teams between 3A and 2. Drumragh and Strabane could end up being stuck in 3 for a long time.

Anyway to give the refs a wee bit of a break, can we have a special mention for Tyrone LGFA. At the minute we have both u16 and u13 girls who haven't played in weeks and are waiting on the Championship starting for the u16s and the semi finals of the blitz for the u13s. When contacted about both we've been told no idea when they will be played and no dates set. This is in the middle of October. It's a total shambles and very unfair on the players. U16 girls haven't had a game in bout 5 weeks and still no sign of the championship starting. Serious change required there.

It's a joke. And a fair chunk of the u16 team are back out in Jan for u14 with games starting mid Feb. No break. Then they wonder why so many girls drop out at this age group.

Ladies fixtures from youth to Senior a total sh*t show. Total overhaul required. Hopefully the LGFA, GAA and Camogie integration will sort this out? Would be a full time role sorting all fixtures on its own for 3 associations combined

Yeah, I do feel for them in that they generally have to wait till men fixtures are sorted first before trying to schedule the ladies games around them, but there has to be a better way than how they are currently handling it. Just happened to be talking to a friend involved with Armagh LGFA and it's like night and day how they operate.

Junior - Fancy a gutsy Drumragh to dig deep to get the win. Cookstown looked really poor in that 1st half. Drumragh should have had 4/5 goals. The industrious Eoin Montgrumity and Niall McKarney in midfield will no doubt need to be at their best if Drumragh are to get through.
Just to add- thought Bell had a good game on the whistle - bar the 2pt free - which was umpires call.

Trillick v Errigal - Could see a big win for Errigal. No Trillick defenders will be fit for the Canavans. Big McCaughey and Robinson will be a good tussle. 2 Old School men going ding dust. Errigal by 7-8.

Drumragh FF Line was very sharp too I thought - not often in junior you see 3 inside forwards as rampant as they where. They need to continue or do an even better job on Conal Sheehy and also try and stifle the Polish lad as when those 2 got going Cookstown looked like a different outfit. Also Michael McElhatton needs to increase his conversion rate.

I would agree on Bell that he wasn't too bad. I felt like he did turn for Cookstown at the start of the second half and I see a lot of referees doing this recently I think its like an unconscious bias for the favourite - Maybe a workshop for the Tyrone Refs on this in the off season! On the 2 pointer he should have called it himself as it was clear the umpire was in deep trouble and hadn't seen it properly.
 
God help me I don't know what way to turn for the Lough v Carmen Semi. Should be a good game!

The issue with the ladies under 16s, as someone had already suggested, is the fact that under 16 girls are eligible for senior teams so they are not willing to fixture an under 16 game the same week as a senior game

Intermediate - The O'Rahillys to do the business next Sunday. Big boost for Eglish having McKenna back in their squad, caused a lot of bother to the Moy defense when he was introduced. If Skeets on song we'll not be stopped. Clonoe by 4.

Senior - Carrickmore to come out of the local derby. Loughmacrory too reluctant of the likes of McElholm, McCullagh and the Donaghys. Carrickmore team full of dogs, we've seen that in their previous two games, and that's what it will come down to. Loughmacrory won't be fit to cope with them. Carrickmore by 2.

Errigal to overcome Trillick to set up a repeat of the 2022 final. Both teams made hard work of their quarter finals but can see Errigal having the more fire power up front. The Canavans to cause real damage to that Trllick full back line which hasn't been great this year. Errigal by 5.
