Absolutely, level of handling/first-touch & tackling levels were so below sub-par.

100% with Kyle jumping ship

What a game. That was a big call by Sean Hurson to overrule his umpire when Dungannon were leading. Maybe he was right, still a massive decision to be making.

Dungannon are a great team - can be considered unlucky to have only made 1 county final in this run they're on. Trillick and Errigal two phenomenal teams to be battling with year in year out.

Didn't look over from the stands either but I suppose not much can be done about it now

Fair fucks to Errigal Thrids. Beating derrytresk massive credit to them, Derrytresk were thinking ahead of themselves they thought they were in for a chance on winning the junior championship but no.

Hearing their supporters were a disgrace at the game.

Errigal rattled them today and deserved to be in the next round. Also Kyle Coney will walk now??

Dungannon deserved something out of that game but what is my man at hitting quick free let Donaghy swing the 2 pointer would o f been a draw.

Anyone on the far stand know was that 2pointer over the bar?

I don't think any sane Derrytresk person thought they would be winning the Junior Championship I think they like many genuine junior clubs ( not the thirds teams) would hope to give the championship a rattle normally that involves playing against the same teams that played division 3 league football. EC3 and DM3 championship teams bore no resemblance to their league teams. The whole premise of allowing thirds teams into junior football was to give players who couldn't get Div 1 Senior or Reserve football game time, adding up to 8/9 men who have played Division 1 senior league or reserve football to the thirds panel for championship is not within the spirit of giving lads football. Blowing about beating a small club is beyond pathetic for a club like EC most of these clubs underage footballers are coming through the lower grades of Tyrone underage football and in many cases some clubs are amalgamated like Naomh Brid. That EC3 team today would have likely won Division 3b whilst the team their genuine thirds hardly finished near the bottom, the lads that took the beatings all year for EC and Donaghmore were good enough to be cannon fodder during the league but not considered good enough by their clubs for championship there is some incentive for those die hard to come out again in 2026. Whilst no rules were broken that I know in bringing senior players down to play in the junior championship its not in the spirit of giving lads football and none of the genuine clubs can add that number of grade 1 footballers to their panels. Drumragh should be wary for next week.

Talk of Derrytresk winning a junior- what planet where they on?
Clogher and cookstown way out in front of anything else in Junior
Hopefully the draw keeps them apart and they meet in the final

Thought Hurson sore on Dungannon at times. Think there was a foul outside the arc near the end when 2 in it. Assume he was playing advantage (as looked like dungannon player was celebrating after the tackle) and dungannon where having a free pop at a goal. But overturned and no free.

Drumragh have an outside chance but a motivated Clogher might just shade it.

Just a humble reminder that Errigal Ciaran covers 80 square mile. 76 square mile covers 13 clubs in east Tyrone. Derrytresk being one of them. There is a reason Errigal 3rds did not win the 3B league. That is because 3/4 of their team today played Division 1 / Division 1 Reserves while the 3B league was ongoing.

Dungannon players took a solo and go was my reading of that. Just poor decision making which given the tension at that stage was understandable.

Actually thought Dungannon got away with one when Paudie McNulty saved the ball on the line. Looked like it was handled on the ground but they played on.

Yeah but that was a genuine thirds team out pathetic that Division 1 players have to drop down and play against teams whose underage played mostly grade 3 or 4 for an ego boost 🤣🤣. The thirds times have disrespected and made a mockery out of a competition for the lowest ranked clubs in the county Omagh DNF countless games and were involved in some questionable results beaten boy Killyman who then got hammered by Brackaville only to subsequently get beaten by the same Omagh team allegedly who were fielding players against some teams but not others like Tattyreagh who one can only assume they didn't field because the Tatts would know whether those lines out were genuine or not. Donaghmore were the whipping boys in the league and finished below Killyman in the league who beat them convincingly early in the league only to bizarrely lose by a cricket score in the final league game. I have not spoken to anyone from CNG to Killyman who has had anything positive to say about these thirds teams participating in the junior league and championship. Perhaps with this year's shenanigans its now the time for a recreational league for thirds teams and to allow junior football a bit of integrity again a 3rds league line you have in Derry.

tiempo

Tighten the rules or create a separate novice grade for thirds where D3 teams can enter and cook the books to punch down in return, see how keen Donaghmore EC and Omagh are then
