3 north Tyrone teams in D3 played last night or tonight.
Combined losing total of 94 points!!!!

Strabane beat by 31 (4-23 to 0-4)
Urney beat by 40 (9-25 to 2-6)
Clan Na Gael beat by 23 (3-21 to 0-7)

That is shocking.

Even worse that if you add up their 3 scoring totals they still wouldn't have beat either of the winners

North Tyrone have a problem. Even at underage you see a lot of the same clubs in the lower divisions and taking hammerings.

It's probably something that needs addressing by the county board to offer assistance.
Living the dream!!!

Who is 13 for Fianna in the videos doing the rounds?

Some euphoria following Carmens victory over the Lough last night. You cannot beat a parish derby like last night.

Is it true Eoin McIlhom didnt play against Carrickmore because his girlfriend is from there?

After being sent the video of the sending off early on in the Strabane V Cookstown game the other evening, cant believe this resulted in a sending off.

At absolute worst its a yellow for this incident between two teammates. Does anyone know who the referee was for the game?

Strabane will feel very aggrieved for what was likely a massive game in their push for promotion/playoff positioning.

Don't think there is there a top 2 or top 4 promotion play off in division 3a this year?

Rule 5.4 – Sequential Promotion Requirement

In accordance with the Tyrone GAA All-County League structure, a club winning the championship in Division 3B shall not be eligible for direct promotion to Division 2. All promotions must occur in sequential order through the divisional hierarchy. Therefore, a team must first advance to Division 3A before becoming eligible for promotion to Division 2.

Skipping a divisional grade (e.g., moving directly from Division 3B to Division 2) is considered a breach of league progression protocol and is strictly prohibited, regardless of championship outcome.

It appears you are correct with regards playoff, but should cookstown win the championship it could leave the 2nd team in league looking at straight promotion which still couldve been damaged by the other nights result.

also looking through the rules to find that we find that the league and the CCC regulations contradict one another.

Point 29. on the CCC regulations for 2025 states. Should a team from Division 3A win the Junior Championship they will automatically play in
Division 2 in 2026.

This is all written with the original format of 3 and 3a in mind, obviously before some of the "a" teams got their knickers in a twist about a and b for parity...

Could you have picked any safer options

My Predictions:
Senior: Loughmacrory
Intermediate: Eglish
Junior: Derrytresk

They are your winners folks

You're putting big faith in our neighbours who fell short against a mere reserve team we were forced to field last night. 11 players from last years championship team missing at the moment... pretty much the whole spine from Goalkeeper to Fullforward...

Great result none the less in what was a titanic battle and one the huge crowd would have enjoyed im sure!!

time ticking away

Missing those 11 might be a good thing
canavan is the man canavan is the man ee aye adi ooh.......

Onthe40

Trillick
Clonoe
Clogher (though interested in seeing if Derrytresk can rattle any of the big guns)

In division 2 and 3 it has always been the case that if a team does the league and championship double, second place team in league go up automatically. Nothing has changed there
