Are Trillick the new Errigal? Anonymously set them up as contenders so you can knock them for getting ahead of themselves when they don't reach your inflated level.

Trillick don't really exude that attitude (TOWIE), a more humbler supporter. Maybe is the proximity to Fermanagh keeps them grounded.

I don't know about Dungannon. You've sort of been waiting on them to kick on from winning it in 2020 but just haven't really. I would have them well behind Errigal/Trillick.

Clarkes won in 2020. Beat by Dromore AET first round in 2021, Dromore go on to win. Beat by Errigal (quarter final?) in 2022, Errigal go on to win. Beat by Trillick last year in semi-final, Trillick go on to win.

I'd have them up there with Dromore ahead of the chasing pack but a bit behind Trillick and Errigal who have stacked squads. Need subs making an impact to win a senior championship.

Dungannon 2020 and Dromore 2021 had subs making an impact. But what subs did Errigal and Trillick have coming in and making an impact? I am not arguing having a squad is very important for a championship run but I don't recall any sub bench impact for Trillick or Errigal the last two years.

Greencastle & Beragh might disagree there. They'll fancy their chances. I'd say the draw is pretty even. Derrylaughan, Moortown & Aghyaran on the other side. Hard to call.

It will be interesting to see how much the new young players will impact the senior championship or will the experience heads still lead the way

There is a changing of the guard taking place in Tyrone when compared to 10 years ago when you had genuine contenders in Clonoe, Dromore, Errigal, Coalisland, Omagh, Killyclogher, Trillick. Coalisand and Clonoe have completely fallen away from being considered contenders. You would find very few who would consider Omagh or Killyclogher genuine contenders. Dromore are still there or there abouts but hit by a lot of emigration and the majority of their team is the wrong side of 30 at this stage. The likes of Ardboe and Galbally lack the forwards to break out as contenders. Edendork have shown their capability to win one off games but lack the team to put a run together to go and win it. Carrickmore getting to the 2022 final shows they are also there or there abouts but need to find a top level forward to have them as genuine contenders.
So really you are only looking at Trillick, Errigal and Dungannon as genuine contenders to win it outright and you are potentially look at new contenders emerging over this or the next few seasons in Loughmacrory and Donaghmore.

If Galbally can keep Kerr and donaghy fit and with young Corrigan and darragh Donaghy making the step up having been huge players for donaghmore convent and Sean hughes being the academy's main scorer means they have more options in the forward line compared to recent years although they would definitely lack the experience in that sense. I think Dungannon could find it difficult against donaghmore in the first round after the start donaghmore have had and with it being a local derby.

On last nights performance albeit they were missing a couple of players Clonoe are in for a long miserable season.  Donaghmore will be happy with their start to the season and on the road to securing safety early in the year as the going will get tougher for them after Tyrone's exit from the championship.

Cush leaving the county setup has definitely benefited Donaghmore, agree with you on Clonoe. Every club will have injuries but can compensate with players as good from the bench, but clonoe don't seem to have the options and don't have many young players coming through other than Ryan Quinn who looks to have talent. From what I've seen eglish and clonoe look the most likely to make the drop to intermediate although there's a long way to go.
