Quote from: Mikhailov on September 22, 2023, 02:32:44 PMThought Hurson let Errigal systematically foul Killyclogher all night. Every time Errigal lost possession, Killyclogher were immediately fouled. Surely a referee of Hurson's stature should be alert & wise to that
One of the McCanns got clipped late on in front of the tv camera and even Paddy tally said the referee will have to come back to deal with that but nothing happened. Right in front of the linesman

In saying all of the above, Errigal are a slick outfit. Harte has been priming them for the rigours of the Ulster club later in the year

When was the last time a Tyrone team won the Ulster Club (Senior)?

Carmen in decline despite the heavy outlay on outside manager/coach, Omagh worse with an even bigger expenditure on manager and coach from outside.Must be a long time since Carmen surrendered so meekly.

Edendork were superb but it has to be said Carrickmore were absolutely pathetic. Looked like they just gathered up an hour before the match.

Edendork will give Trillick their fill of it. Some of their non-county players were excellent the likes of Corr, Conlan and Mallon.

Agreed, Neil Kilpatrick also. They will take some beating, fancy them to turn Trillick over

Thought Carrickmore were poor as well in last years semi against Clonoe and felt the final was only close because it was a big derby game against Errigal. Edendork have a real good chance against Trillick.

Carrickmore looked very impressive over the first 8-9 league games but then we're very poor against Loughmcrory, Errigal and Dromore over the past month. Looking at the players that didn't start I wonder is all well inside the camp.

Similar with Meyler not starting for Omagh.

Quote from: rrhf on June 09, 2023, 02:10:25 PMI think Donaghmore name is already on it fellas, albeit it's a long time ago... I agree though with the points.  Loughmacrory are a serious seasoned group, well coached and full of football, as also are, Errigal, Dromore, Dungannon, Carmen, Killyclogher, Trillick, Ardboe, Omagh and Coalisland who would be on everyones lips to win the thing. Don't see that changing anytime soon.
Favourites: Errigal Ciaran
Main Contenders: Dungannon, Trillick and Dromore
Hard to see any winners outside of those four.

Mad take. I'll save this one for October
Who else do you capable outside of the 4? As in string together 4 consecutive wins
Carrickmore for me have to be in the favourites discussion. Id like to hear why you think they shouldn't. Beaten in last years final and won a league two years ago.
A championship run of beating Coalisland (missing three best forwards) Loughmacrory and Clonoe doesn't strike me as genuine outright contenders. They haven't beaten any of the established bigger teams in my eyes to be considered ahead of them.
If I was picking an upset for the championship first round it would most likely be Edendork nipping Carrickmore in my opinion.
🤔🤔🤔🤔

Those are disgraceful conditions to be playing in in Edendork.
