Updated as much as I could find to the second post in the "Links to club fixtures" thread.

As to the above accusation concerning Cookstown, it's possible that they had players missing in the league game back at the start of August against Brackaville that were back for the other games in the league semi-final & championship (not being from that part of Tyrone I can't say I know anything else) but if it's the case that they've been slipping in A team players into their B team on the quiet etc. then they should be ashamed of themselves - surely they can't be that desperate to land a Grade 4 title, especially given how their Grade 1 team at the same age level are currently performing?

Heard they where missing alot of players for the first game.

Did the poster not say that Cookstown finished 6th in the division? So missing a bunch of players every week?

square_ball

The same players must have been missing in the first league game in Grade 4 v Tattyreagh a few weeks before that Brackaville game when they were beat by 47 points  ::)

A predictions thread for the Tyrone Senior Club championship would be good fun.... anyone prepared to put themselves forward and run it???

In hiding

Who wins this evening ?
Have a feeling Dungannon might get across the line.
Should be a great game

Some crackers to come. Coalisland v Carrickmore the pick of them for me.

I'd have tonight and tomorrow night ahead of that one. Lot of the games very hard to call. Last years champions underdogs in the first round.

Senior Championship First Round

Ardboe V Omagh - even with no Conor O'Donnell, they should have too much quality for Ardboe.
Dromore V Killyclogher - might very well take Extra Time but quality of Mark Bradley and Tiernan McCann and the momentum from a good league campaign, edge towards Killyclogher.
Moy V Errigal Ciaran
Trillick V Dungannon - still a brilliant team on paper, McNulty a bigger loss for Dungannon than Richie for Trillick. Mattie Donnelly being fit is a massive boost to Trillick.
Moortown V Clonoe - another game that may need Exra Time. Conor McAliskey being the outstanding player on show may give Clonoe that cutting edge to get over the line.
Greencastle V Donaghmore - strong finish to the league has Donaghmore coming into the Championship in good form. Young team with tonnes of potential ready to come off age. Could be the start of a big run for them.
Carrickmore V Coalisland - a very even game but injuries to Tiarnan Quinn and Paddy McNeice edge this towards Carrickmore.
Loughmacrory V Derrylaughan - Loughmacrory had a decent league campaign with some good results against the bigger teams, showing their championship potential. I don't see Derrylaughan having the quality to break down Loughmacrory's defensive system.

Are Omagh still reliant on Conor O'Donnell? If so I'd go for Ardboe
Donaghmore always have a good finish to the league  ;)
Skeet will deserve a winter off.. trying to keep the rahillys senior on his own!
