Was at the Galbally game, a great match up and the result was probably about right. Magheracloone were the better side. Harsh to say Galbally took their eye off the ball with the team talk awards but I take your point, probably could have been avoided. (Kevin Kelly probably asked they take part)

I thought Galbally left if all out on the pitch. Handled themselves like champions the whole way through the Ulster campaign.
Living the dream!!!

skeog

Award attendance was right had no bearing on result last night.Magheraclooone more streetwise and physically stronger.Galbally can be proud of 2019 and will hold their own at senior level next year.

Going rate for a D1 manager payment can be anything from 12k to 25k. Depending on club and manager involved.

25k for one man? Seems like an awful amount of money. How much would the likes of McBride be getting in Errigal? And does it come with a championship clause?

Seems stupid errigal paying anyone at all to manage them considering there resources. For a club to pay someone whilst having probably the greatest player to ever play the game at there club seems silly. Would it not make sense for him to manage them?

Agree, however there is no point opening that can of worms. I have just learnt not to expect anything simple by Errigal. With men like Canavan, the Hartes, O'Roarke, and a rack of other men with valuable experience on the pitch and on the line, you'd think they can find someone within their own ranks that could step up?

Anyone at the under 21 semi final yesterday? Didn't get up to it but the result shocked me, i had Dromore winning that one hands down after their Senior league win.

Couldn't tell you Errigals policy on payment to be honest. I live to the East but Cassidy at Clonoe figures were something along those lines. Omagh have paid big in the past too. Donaghmore aren't shy of a few quid and are after a big name at moment. Coalisland handed out money to McKeever etc too.

In a perfect world it would be inside men, but sometimes they simply aren't there. Although not to pick on Errigal, yes with their pick it probably makes it a bit easier alright.

Don't forget Enda McGinley. He took them to back to back minor championships in 17 and 18, surely the logical step would be for him to take the senior job and help bring these boys through. He managed Swatragh this year so time mustn't be an issue for him.

Mikhailov

Lads, I stand corrected but the 3 big inside names mentioned regarding Errigal have all previously done the job. Pascal for 4 years, Peter for 3 prior to Pascal and MOR done it for a year or two in early 00's before he took Fermanagh in 2006/07.

Not many inside men interested to taking any club when the pressure is on to win a championship so fair play to Hagan for doing it with the Fianna and Seaney with Trillick.

Time maybe isnt an issue, but doubt Errigal would be interested in giving him the figures he asked certain Armagh club for or got from Swatragh

Do Dungannon not have 4/5 Tyrone U20s?
