Christmas Lights

After watching Errigal last night and you have to say it's GLOT.
B2B will be done.

Absolutely agree, thought Ardboes conditioning looked way off..

We have seen this with Ardboe before, they won several minor titles in the early noughties (i think) but it never amounted to anything substantial at senior level
Ardboe, Donaghmore, Cookstown all have loads of lads who dominate at youth, schools and the county academy panels... probably more than any other club....but i dont see any of them winning a senior championship anytime soon

Errigal look to be on a mission
have unearthed a few new players too which freshens things

Helps when you have the pick of 3 clubs nearly.

Seen Ardboe a few times this year and was impressed by their pace, work rate and fitness in general. Just looked very flat last night and came up against an Errigal side who were brilliant and on a mission, when you face the likes of that and aren't at it any team will look unfit.

Have seen Ardboe as well this year prior to last night and thought they were good, actually thought they played better last night against Errigal than in the 2023 game, its just that Errigal are much much better now and they've even kicked on from their All-Ireland run. Realisticially only Trillick have the best chance of stopping them, Dungannon and Dromore maybe next with Killyclogher, Carrickmore and Loughmacrory after them. And 2 of those teams mentioned will be gone by tomorrow night barring draws.

Is there a ruthless approach to recruitment at U6 U8 Go-games level or how does it work?

Rue the day Glencull weren't allowed to affiliate?

What has become of Shay O'Harr this last 12 months. His development has stagnated. He was deemed the best footballer in Ireland under the age of 20 but now looks broken.

I've seen Errigal twice this year and Joe Oguz was immense both times. Looks very physical and driven. He was the same last year in Errigals run, he has really responded to Enda Mcginley.

Yeah he is excellent. His time with the county panel has helped him immensely.

Quote from: TheDergView on September 12, 2025, 01:26:10 PMA lot of pressure on pomeroy tonight. 1/3 in bookies, red hot favourites. Mcgeary accepting money off Pomeroy to stay about and delay his travel plans, could turn sour. Tough one to call

Think Killycloghers experience gets them over the line tonight. The mccanns ,barky and simey Oneill been round the block. Killyclogher by 2

Its amazing the rubbish people spread, borderline slander

Aaron Boone

This year a runners-up shield should be considered for the team that loses to Errigal in the final.

It's a massive achievement to reach the final and the County Board should at least show a mark of respect for the "best of the rest" this year.

Lol this is said every year. Errigal could well be put out next round if they face Trillick or just aren't up to it like Clonoe last year

Sure isn't McGeary a schoolmaster in Cookstown ?
Hardly be heading away anywhere at this time of year !
