Would love to see Eglish win on Friday just to make it a relegation shootout on Sunday.
Beragh v Cookstown also a relegation play off on Sunday. If cookstown win, they will overtake on head to head

Gortin and Moortown going for the league.
Top 4 to be secured in division 1

Super Sunday

03,05,08

Beragh and Cookstown Game on Sunday loser in the Relegation Play Off.

ONeill

Two intense Rahilly/Fianna games in quick succession.

Won't be for the faint-hearted.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

WT4E will even make an exception and support the big rivals on Sunday.

Tyrone Gaa

Will be interesting to see if Killyclogher push for the league top 4 or have 1 eye on the championship.

If Eglish can get a win sets them up with a showdown with the Fianna. I think all of Tyrone would love to see Eglish beat Killyclogher.

Will simply come down to the Killyclogher approach
Living the dream!!!

A lot depends on the championship dates and fixtures. Could there be teams playing the following Friday night? County board needs to release info asap.

Kildress dodged a bullet with Conor Gormley and Leonard anyway. Leaves Drumquin and they turn around and win the league the following year. Goes to Beragh and takes them from second to a final day shootout for a place in the relegation play off.

Quote from: square_ball on August 21, 2024, 08:11:33 PMThat's the relegation play off sorted then. Coalisland v Clonoe with the loser down and winner playing the Divison 2 play off winner.

Unless Eglish win their two games then they play clonoe????
And if either team win the championship then they stay up

Don't think you need to worry about that, bad bad spell for two traditional powers. 1st round championship game and a relegation playoff and in reality I don't know how much bragging rights the winners can really take from either.

Eglish have been quite decent as of late haven't shipped a proper beating in a while, if Killyclogher conveniently rested a few men on Friday night it would leave Sunday afternoon somewhat interesting. 3 wins in 5 days when you had none before that is asking a lot though.

Top 4 going to the wire as well, great season for Galbally. Errigal sitting top of the tree in absolute third gear is ominous
Anyone who saw them against Dromore wouldn't be sitting panicking about them anyway. Just a pity they have such a handy route to the Semi Final and Carrickmore Dromore and Killyclogher will all be tripping over each other before hand. They could upset Errigal but Dromore be the best equipped of them to do so.

That Beragh second place was a serious over achievement in fairness, I still don't know how they done it. For all our resident Kildress poster's constant jibes they have barely finished above them

In fairness I think under the circumstances of what happened at the end of last year, staying up is a great achievement for Kildress.

I was always interested in how Beragh would fair considering the manner in which my club was used in order to enhance the pot. It was never about we could beat Beragh or that kind of thing if u look back. Wonder do Beragh consider it a good season and money well spent??? I'll leave that to people's opinion and the good people of Beragh. To say Beragh where over achieving is also patronising I would consider them to have as strong a squad as Gortin. A very solid squad was some very good players with 3 Tyrone U20s and Conor Owens possibly one of the most exciting forwards in the County.

For obvious reasons this season was goin to be a serious struggle and I have to say I'm proud of the lads for retaining our Div 2 status. To say that make the comment you made is somewhat inconsiderate.

You would expect them to beat Cookstown but I would not rule out a win for the town. GOOD LUCK!

Supposedly a bad injury in the beragh and gortin game, player had his jaw broke

Rebel84

Folks what has happened for the Moy to have fallen off a cliff with four losses in a row? Can't be the sole reason of one decent forward out injured.

What poor Beragh player was on the receiving end?
