It's now Fianna v Moy for last remaining Division 1 place.

Drumragh beat Killeeshil by 1 and will play Intermediate in 2024. Didn't see that coming tbh.

Fair play to Drumragh. Kept knocking on the door the past 3 or 4 years and at 5 points down at half time today you'd have thought that it just wasn't meant to be for them.

Kileeshil will have too much for division 3 next year if they have their full pick. A few minutes from an intermediate final in 2022 to relegation in 2023.

Quote from: Eire90 on November 11, 2023, 05:45:41 PMif trillick go far in ulster could league final be pushed way back to near christmas or after and would trillck go easy in the league final if say they have a all ireland semi final to play.

This sounds like the errigal chat we have

Don't think we'll have to worry about league final being pushed back too far

Could be a late enough finish for the league. Scotstown very much a 50/50 both will fancy their chances.

had to make the leap at some stage
kicked themselves out of the final v Fintona... have been knocking on door for 4-5 years, lot of their youth playing at grade 2 over the past 10+ years..no surprise really

Good to see Drumragh go up having coming so close over the last number of years. With them, Fintona and Cookstown joining Intermediate it makes for a very competitive division next year. Be interesting to see who people think will be in the relegation and promotion mix next year. I would expect, especially with the promotion bounce, that two of the three will stay up - most likely Fintona and Cookstown.

With the Fianna in danger of ending a near 40 year stay in Senior football what would the other longest stints be from the current division 1 teams?

Dromore, Carrickmore, Killyclogher, Omagh, Ardboe and Errigal have all been up a brave while unless I've missed something?

Former Gortin player Ruairi Keenan believed to be apart of an in-house backroom team with Castlederg the year. Has strong links with the primary school. Money really talks

Seeing videos from Errigal and Ardboe doing the rounds tonight. Tyrone GAA really need to get a grip. Was a dead rubber game looking at the table. Both clubs should have no home games next minor year for a start as well as hefty suspensions.

Tougher sanctions have to be handed out to deal with this.

Is he still not playing with Gortin, a very solid midfielder in his day, but didn't think he was near the end of his playing days just yet. Would be a massive commitment time wise still playing while being involved in a back room team of another club

It's happening all over the country now, becoming more and more common.

A zero tolerance approach is needed. But we still have the excuses, handbags, nothing in it, blah, blah blah. Complete shite. It's a blight on the game. f**k both teams out of the competition and hand out bans.
If that happened on the street on a Saturday night the cops would probably lift a fair few lads.
