Here Clarshak. What's the craic with all the over age players you've been playing at U16 level this year?

that's really the senior team from 2022 (back from the future) that just beat clonoe in the sfc final to complete the 3-in-a-row!  ;D

2 players from the loughshore clubs, in gervin & dwayne quinn, some top players in some of them clubs. as a tyrone fan and being to most of the championship games this year, some of the players here, are from the grade! where are these scouts who pick some of these players?
saying that, forward-wise if people play to their potential no stopping them. defensively they look very worrying, no stand-out defenders there at all.

clarshack

there's still a decent representation from east tyrone there. what other loughshore players should be there?

A great win on Saturday to win our first ever senior league title, and to beat the neighbours so convincingly will make sure that it will live long in the memory. It made for a super weekend, fight night at the club on Friday and then celebrations at the club on Saturday evening, great craic. Puts in a good stead for next season, with a number of key players returning from injury as well as the young players who got massive experience this year. Roll on 2013 lol.

A good weekend for Clonoe, their first ACL Division 1 title.  They must start as one of the favourites for the O'Neill Cup next season. With Cookstown winning the Ulster Intermediate title,  how many players from those two clubs will make the county senior panel in 2013?

Great win for Clonoe. Fair play to them after having been out of action for what seemed like an eternity.

Coalisland will feel aggrived having gone through the entire 15 league games unbeaten.

Maybe both teams are better than the sum of the parts. Having a lot of very good club players who will give all for the club jersey does not necessarily translate into a lot of good players who will give all for the County jersey. Just as having a lot of County players does not make you a Championship winning team.

Well done to Cookstown but hard luck to Brackaville.

Cookstown should go the whole road now.

I see the PR machine has started its drive to change the dates of the club championships already in the Irish News this morning. After trying their best to walk all over the wishes of the clubs last year in this regard. It is clear that they simply don't listen to the clubs. So they are determined to push on with it this year again. Here is a question, how does the county next door i.e. Derry whose club championship start at the same time e.g. August ,get their compos all cleared up comfortably, please take into consideration that they have to give take in account the many duals clubs that play football and hurling, making the planning more complicated. Both counties were out of the qualifiers by the end of July. If we start our championship in June, all of the teams who loose in the 1st round will have the majority of their students leave to go to the states over the summer therefore making the league become useless, never mind the impact in the devlopment of club players.

The Trap

Mickey Harte is starting to sound a bit like Benitez. On Mulligan he said "sometimes a player's form comes back to a very good level. Everyting is possible."  8)

I believe that outside the big games Mulligan has been one of the most consistent Tyrone players since 2008.  I would place him above O Neill and Cavnagh in that regard. Having said that most of the old hands have been poor by their own standards since 2008.

Club Rossa

Moortown 0-7 Ardboe 4-6 in u-21 cship tpday.

heard it was a good game in the loughshore down until the last 10,where ardboe killed it off. ardboe to win G2 & cookstown to win G1, can't see past it.

Is it true Carmen & Killyclogher are appealing the county board decision to put Greencastle in the semi-final? If so, it may have a while to run yet!

Was speaking to a Cappagh man yesterday on the same. He mentioned that has all 3 teams finished level and without Kildress scores then the CCC were using 'scores for' between those games. He said CCC didnt have many options open unless the 3 teams played each other in a round robin series again!!! Unless lads away, surprised Kildress not fielding as they reached the minor final 3 years ago. Tommo2 as a cappagh gael what's your solution??? Greencastle won't be far away with Warnock & McCullaghs.
