well done mick, would be great to see him back as irish boss after trappa.

Would you? surely a successful manager would be a better appointment

getting promoted to the premiership with wolves and avoiding relegation in his first season, and again in his second, isnt a success then?  ::)

The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

Leo

He has done a great job with Wolves but that has created expectations to stay  in Premier League plus Chairman is investing heavily in stadium rebuild that needs that level.
I think after today he will be considering whether he needs to move on.
Reading the Wolves fan forums there is great regard for him but this seems to be a watershed.
Whatever he does, it will be done with dignity and I admire him as a gentleman and an Irishman.
Fierce tame altogether

Orangemac

Always liked Mick but he seems to be on his last legs. He hasn't had much money to spend in fairness but there seems to be a lack of spirit in the team when you compare them to say Blackburn.

Whether bringing someone in now would be any more likely to save Wolves is arguable though.

Always liked McCarthy. But the writing was on the wall there.

I think Morgan was inclined to keep him. But for Wolves fans losing to West Brom is unforgivable at the best of times, and these are not the best of times. Or the best of losses
