This gave me a good laugh.
I think Trump is a bit of a dose but if he solved world hunger these people would cheer for hunger.

Well luckily Trump has zero interest in solving world hunger or doing anything else so noble. This is the man who hired Elon Musk to "feed USAID into the wood chipper" after all.

Anyone who is cheering this war needs to get a grip and cast their mind back a little over 20 years. The US right tried to sell the world a utopian vision of how western-style democracy would emerge to transform the Middle East once they took out the Taliban and Saddam Hussein.

Assuming of course that that is what Trump is after. Their stated objectives, such as they are, are all over the place.

The spiritual defeat of Trump and MAGA. Complete betrayal to serve the Jews who will dump him in a ditch when hes no longer useful.

His body language is telling in recent presser. Knows he fked up, is trying to put brave face on but ultimately thought he could go straight back to negotiations.

He's abit more than a dose, he's an unhinged lunatic in charge of more firepower than anyone in history.

He ran a campaign and got elected on promising to release the Epstein files and avoiding war with Iran. This week he's attacked Iran largely as a distraction from the Epstein files.

He thought this would be like another Venezuela type operation.

Stock Markets in the US closed for the weekend, take out the Ayatollah and a lot of the first line government and army and the Iranians would be begging for a "ceasefire" which Trump could bank as a win in time for the Stock Markets to open again on Monday.

Iran has been saying for weeks now that they had new, generational missiles and drones that they hadn't deployed but would do so in the face of Israeli and US threats.
Evidently no one took them seriously and it seems Israels Iron Dome couldn't stop a lot of the missiles reaching land.

They also warned their neighbouring states that they too would be on the receiving end if they allowed the US to use bases in their countries to attack Iran.

Expect this shít show to continue for quite a while by the looks of it.

Starmer said the US couldn't use  British airfields to launch  attacks in Iran , then said they could  do  but  only for  "defensive strikes".

How does that work then?

It's legal language to make sure the UK stays within the Internationally agreed guidelines for this type of situation.

I'd say they were scrambling around behind the scenes frantically when the first request came hence the delay.

Why so?

Irish people who have likely never been within a thousand mile of Iran trying to tell actual real life Iranians that they shouldn't be joyous that their country's brutal dictators 37 year reign is over.

Venezuela is so last month. On to the next trendy outrage.

Do they really think America bombing the shite out of their country, killing children and most likely leading to another Iraq/Syria/Afghanistan situation on a far bigger scale is good for them?

Same regime in situ in Venezuela.

Have the US ever bombed a country and it been welcomed by the locals?

I do enjoy it when an Irish man who genuinely believes he understands the feelings of the (majority) of a nation's people, feels he can pull rank on other Irish people.

I don't see it like that. The two are not exclusive. You can disagree with how the US/ Israel got involved and certainly with the indiscriminate manner of the attacks that left a girls school in Minab blown to bits. And believe this is another sign of USreal interfering in overseas affairs. And still accept that the removal of the Supreme leader is a good thing for the country.

The guy actually explains the above views in his statements.
