Yeah, Hegseth will be next now that Bondi is gone. He has zero respect among the professional military, but most of all Trump will be looking for a scapegoat for the Iran war as the fallout develops.

f**k Bondi though. Absolutely loathsome, corrupt, immoral piece of shit. Let's hope she pays a heavy legal price in the coming years.

It's amazing these people can't see that working for a parasite like Trump only ends in the sack or jail time.

In the short term she'll land a cushy gig on Fox News.

And I guess they're all assuming that there will be blanket advance pardons coming and/or that Trump will succeed in fixing federal elections for the foreseeable future.

They're like a bunch of filthy pigs feasting on what's left of the US system.

Unbelievable. You'd have to be a dumber c**t than Trump to want to work for him. Ignores all advice, claims all the credit if things go well. As soon as it inevitably goes pear shaped because of his boneheadedness blames all around him for bad advice and puts down the most loyal of dogs. Rinse, repeat. The very definition of an impossible boss.

Yeah, but it's all about raising your profile on the MAGA gravy train.

A third of the US population are completely invested in this ethos of bigotry, hatred and pseudoscience. This stuff will not die with Trump.

The Epstein class are in it for the patronage, government contracts, and business influence.

If you keep a high profile, you can cash in on whichever branch of the MAGA tree you represent.

Maybe there's the promise of presidential pardons too. That's something that seriously needs looking at. A nonsensical concept. And especially if a person premeditatedly breaks the law on the promise of one in the future, surely making it void in the first place.

Whem Trump finally does go under, u see some of his leeches run off to foreign countries before they arrrested. Trump probably pardon them if he doesnt kick the bucket before hand.

Assuming some normality returns to politics in the post-Trump era (or at least in my lifetime) they'll be writing books about him for decades. His books will span politics, ethics and morality, business, psychology, law, true crime and beyond. There can't ever have been a bigger heist in plain sight.

Dropsite News: Pentagon misjudged Iran response ahead of war, report says

"U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth expected limited retaliation from Iran before the war, but "was caught off guard. There's no question," a person familiar with his thinking told Time.

The report says Hegseth had argued internally that Iran's muted reactions to past U.S. strikes suggested calibrated force could impose costs without triggering a broader conflict."

The biggest joke is the Iranian response to hit US bases is a basic aspect of US army* battleplans.

The Iranians essentially being punished for showing restraint in response to the attacks last summer.

Speaking before Trump's arrival at Tuesday's meeting, Hegseth promised "more leadership changes" in the military, demanding a stronger "warrior ethos" and telling the generals and admirals to resign if they disagreed. After abruptly summoning hundreds of top military leaders from their commands around the world, Hegseth used his remarks to slam "woke" Pentagon policies he claims have left the US unprepared for war. Pacing across the stage in front of a large American flag, he hit out at overweight generals and admirals and said disciplinary rules and whistleblower protections would be loosened. He also called the Pentagon's rules of engagement "overbearing". "More leadership changes will be made — of that, I'm certain," Hegseth told the officers gathered at Quantico, a Marine Corps base in Virginia. "If the words I'm speaking today are making your heart sink, then you should do the honourable thing and resign."

Trump echoing Curtis Le May should send a chill down everyones spine.

The bombing of civilian infrastructure and open threats to do more of this to secure concessions is itself a war crime.

Shows desperation.& they are attempting to goad the Iranians out of their calm war of attrition. Israel has used 80% of its interceptors and Iran times their hits in various sectors of Israel at night

Internally Israelis are losing their minds[whatever is left of them that is].

Trump clamouring to leave NATO so Israel can attack Turkey next.

Probably the start of something huge then if/when he does that. Would the Brits/French have the balls to back Turkey in that scenario? What would Putin do?
