Quote from: Wildweasel74 on Today at 11:26:24 AMThere no worse alternative to the current situation, you dumb fucks realise the world laughing at you, that you pick such a low life individual, whos got the immaturity of a spoilt primary school child, who parents just run rough shot. And a dangerous spiteful f**ker into the bargain. Says what a bitter clown you are Whitey.

Both choices were going to destroy the country in different ways

I just picked the candidate who was better for me and my family

(And you do understand that due to the electoral college system my vote essentially doesn't matter)

What has the orange turd done so far that has made life better for you and your family?

Quote from: J70 on December 18, 2025, 07:04:21 PMThe Dems are a normal, centrist, moderate party by western standards.

The Republicans are a far right, christian nationalist personality cult. What the DUP might have become had NI been a huge country.

But they're not

There are 4 Irish born people in my town

2 of us are moderate Republicans

1 is hard core MAGA

1 is a Democrat

The other moderate Republican is pro life. He and his wife were pressurized to terminate a pregnancy due to a (false) Down Syndrome diagnoses. The kid in question went to Harvard Medical Scholl and today is a neo natal surgeon at one of the most prestigious teaching hospitals in the world. Termination up to and including the date of delivery based on a Down Syndrome diagnosis is allowable in Massachusetts.

The MAGA supporter (a woman) had 2 sons at the local high school. The "woke mob" backed the the town Democratic committee tried to essentially ruin the life of one of their son's friends (and his family) due to a false homophobic accusation. (Graffiti in the bathroom of the  high school got pinned on the wrong person and the Democratic members of the school committee were advocating for hate crime charges to be filed against a 15 year old kid)

I'm not talking about whitey's friends in Massachusetts.

I'm talking about the national Republican Party which Trump has taken over lock, stock and barrel.

The day the party push back on any of Trump's historical extremism, narcissism, corruption and bigotry, you can come back to us.

In the meantime, places like Florida are banning chemtrails and fluoride, RFK Jr is trying to overturn decades of proven public health medicine, Trump is defunding science and medicine left, right and center, and Musk destroyed the lives of millions worldwide by "feeding USAID through the wood chipper".

Trump is getting his name on the Kennedy Center and his face on NPS park passes, cabinet meetings feature outlandish claims and toe-curlingly embarrassing fawning that would even make the Kims blush, there's talk about putting his face on one of the 250 year anniversary coins next year.

But sure it's all normal political party behaviour.

And I haven't even mentioned the immigration round-ups or the tariffs.

So after 4 years of Joe and Kamala 77000000 people felt the Republicans would do a better job

Including swing voters who voted for Obama twice and Biden once

So... you're not disputing that the GOP is a far right Christian nationalist personality cult then?

And yeah, the Dems fucked it up, specifically on immigration and allowing Biden to press on with his deluded attempt to get a second term.

They can recover from that.

Where does the GOP go from here? Will the charlatans, the fascists, the bigots and the conspiracy theorists be thrown to the wolves? Or is the likes of Nick Fuentes and Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens the future as it currently appears?

I think that's nonsense

Based on my experience, people are voting against the Democrats and by default are voting for the Republican.

Union guy I've mentioned before. Up at 430 AM, out the door at 5.....starting work in Boston at 6:30 for a utilities company. Down in a manhole up to his oxters in $hite in all types of weather.

Try Explaining to him why he's paying for illegals or for student loan forgiveness for college graduates with useless majors

Oh boo hoo. We all work hard and are up early and pay taxes for things we don't agree with. Is your union pal upset at Trump Jr's drone company getting a massive government contract? Or the literal billions Ivanka's husband is pulling in as Arab governments throw money his way to buy access and influence with Trump? Trump getting a free jet from the Qataris? Billionaires footing the bill for the White House ballroom in return for...? I'll bet he was upset over Hunter Biden.

As for defaulting to the GOP...

1. There are GOP politicians who are not corrupt, bigoted fascists like Trump. The defaulters could have voted for any of them.

2. The GOP MAGA base DOES want Trump. They are racist and fascist themselves and love his racism and fascism. MAGA entails about a third of the country. If the defaulters decide that student loan forgiveness or emergency care for illegals is a worse sin then Trump's corrosive effect on the US and the world, then either they're not paying attention or their moral compass needs some serious realignment.

LOL

And there you have it ladies and gentlemen

This is exactly what the elite of the Democratic Party think of the average working person

Shut your fvcking mouth and listen to us because we know better than you

That's really going to win him back

If you were down in a manhole for an 12 hour overnight shift in the middle of a Boston winter you might have a different view

And that post right there, boys and girls that is exactly why 77,000,000 people voted for Trump

Over and out

If I were down in a Boston manhole in the middle of the night I'd be fuming over student loan forgiveness and feeling glad that I voted for the man who is now terrorizing and abducting brown people, sending some of them to violent foreign gulags, f**king up the US economy and trade with brain dead tariffs, taking a flamethrower to public and environmental health, trying to hide the fact that he is all over the very same Epstein scandal that he himself leveraged in his favour for years, and so on and on???

It's telling that you haven't addressed a single point. The only thing that matters to you apparently is that pointing out the inconsistencies and flawed logic of supporting Trump is supposedly arrogant and condescending to the delicate constitutions of the working heroes who "default" to or form the basis of the MAGA movement.

My auld lad was a union carpenter in NYC for years, then returned to farming in Donegal. He despised GW Bush and if he were around today would have had nothing but disgust and contempt for a man like Trump. I've worked in plenty of literally shit jobs myself, and still have days in my current one when I'm also down manholes and other less than ideal environments. But because I vote the wrong way and take the time to put forward what I hope are logical  opinions, I'm elitest.

What a pile of bollocks.

Over and out indeed.

And this post lays out exactly why Trump got elected and why 77,000,000 voted for him (and Vance has a great chance of getting elected in 2028)

If Biden (and border Czar Kamala) had done their jobs on the border, Trump would NEVER have gotten re-elected.....Im convinced of that

But when I pointed out years ago that there was a "de facto open borders" policy in place and that it was going to cause huge problems down the road, you (and others on here) attacked me like savages

TDS. Trump Denial Syndrome
'Trump Denial Syndrome is manifested by excusing any and all behavior by their leader.Any wrongdoing, even after verifiable evidence,is immediately dismissed.
Fearing any information that may contradict their leader, they simply refuse to view it and often react with anger and name calling.
Trump Denial Syndrome adherents identity becomes wrapped upon in their allegiance to their leader, who to them can do no wrong,so challenging them is almost impossible.   Believing the truth would acknowledge that they have been lied to, and would diminish both their hero and their self esteem.'                  This just about sums up Whitey and all the other Maga loons

The political damage to Trump has come as he is trying to refocus his attention on inflation and affordability, which are voters' biggest concerns. The issues have been dragging down his polling numbers, a worrying sign for Republicans ahead of next year's midterm elections. "For whatever reason [Trump] continues to allow this to consume parts of his political self and his administration," says George Pollack, senior US analyst at Signum Global Advisors. "While this will not be the reason the Republicans 'lose' the midterms, the way the administration has handled it has only served to increase some voters' political disenfranchisement and feelings of betrayal by a politician [with] whom they invested so much of their political identity." Following the partial release of the documents, Democrats continued to attack the White House, sensing that Trump is still vulnerable to attacks on Epstein.  "Ignoring the law now isn't confusion or delay. It's a deliberate attempt to bury the truth and protect the paedophiles who exploited and abused young girls," said Martin Heinrich, a Democratic senator from New Mexico, in a statement
