Sorry, but this is no true. He is very much an antivaxxer who has been pushing the Wakefield autism stuff for years, has denied that any vaccines are "safe and effective", has claimed that the polio vaccine caused cancers and so on and on. And as someone else mentioned, he swooped in to Samoa a few years back to bolster anti-measles vaccine hysteria which resulted in the deaths of dozens of children following a subsequent outbreak.

We're also going to see the return of John Birch Society anti-flouride idiocy to the top of the federal health department.
