Sad, embarrassing stuff.

Like the Palestinians did before 'some people' did something to them?

Trump has relied heavily on the super-rich, who accounted for about 34 per cent of the total haul, according to an FT analysis. Four donors — banking heir Timothy Mellon, casino developer Miriam Adelson, shipping magnate Richard Uihlein and Elon Musk — gave about $432mn. About 6 per cent of pro-Harris groups' funding came from billionaires.

He's not wrong but the sad thing is Trump will do very little (if anything) to solve those issues. Same goes for Harris. What we've seen over this past 30-40 years is western governments move further towards the richest 1% and do very little for the man on the street. Things will only begin to change once the debt fuelled house of cards comes tumbling down (and not just in America).

The 1930s had a Democratic president for most of it so....

If you bothered to read the posts, I was talking about lads having free reign to essentially claim "it's the Jews what done it". Specifically Jews mind, not the Israeli state.

Personally, I think trying to compare trump to Hitler doesn't do anti Trumpers any favours whatsoever.

The complete overreaction by people here over the elected leader of a foreign country is downright embarrassing.
I don't recall anyone giving a damn as Putin closes in on 30 years in power, or Kim Jong Un, or Xi Jinping or any of the other perennial leaders of smaller countries.
You will be fine. Life will go on. I'm sure you survived 2017-21 just great. Just think about the more important things in life and put down the phone.

The difference is, at least until Putin starts moving ever westwards, that Trump's election has the possibility, maybe remote for the moment, of effecting material change on this country if he decides to make it attractive for American companies to shutdown here and return home.

I could apply that logic to any countries election and winners. Not one benefit has come my way from a new leader
