They have him warned and prepared....and then he just goes off on rants and throws insults out left, right and centre.

I did wonder why Texas was considering this, but if your comment about 2028 and Texas being in play is accurate, that explains it.

They tried something similar in Wisconsin. The Republican-held state legislature realised that a Democratic governor was about to take office, so they promptly tried to strip the office of governor of just about all of its powers. The reason? Because they were afraid he would "implement a liberal agenda." The fact that he had a democratic mandate didn't mean a damn thing to them. Just like the unionists.

I turned off Pelosi's speech halfway through, it was a bit disappointing. She seems to speak better off the cuff than reading a prepared speech. She does okay for someone her age though.

Harris's speech hit it out of the park though. This convention has been inspiring and uplifting, probably the best DNC I've ever seen, even better than Obama's.

She'd better start pulling into a stronger lead in Pennsylvania. The polls there have been worrying me. It shouldn't be this close.
