Agreed, but it should be noted that 128 Democrats from House and Senate did not attend.

And some of those who did attend made it clear they were protesting Netanyahu

I saw one in attendance protesting. Who were the others. How many of the Democrats actually attended?

Strong start from Kamala. She's an impressive speaker.
Turns out the debate went too well for Trump, he beat Biden too soon, now he has to beat Harris too.
I think the swing states will do it for Trump, so Harris to win the popular vote but Trump to win the electoral college. But still a long way to go, it'll be an interesting campaign

Is JD Vance the first ever Catholic on the Republican ticket for a Presidental election?

Mike Pence and Sarah Palin were both Catholics at one stage but then changed religions.

What did Trump's 'Christian's won't need to vote ever again if we win' mean?
(not the exact quote, but thereabouts)

Look-Up!

I assume it's that he'll make America great again, so great in fact, that there'll be no problems in US or the world need solving. Vintage Trump.

The constitutional and civil rights attorney Andrew Seidel, replied to video of Trump's comments circulating on X by writing:

"This is not subtle Christian nationalism. He's talking about ending our democracy and installing a Christian nation."

Look-Up!

Those yanks do love the hyperbole.
