Supreme court pretty much handing Trump the keys to the castle if he wins the election.


Checks & balances are out the window. Your now relying on the moral fibre of those who'd take the orders to reject them out of hand... and it only takes one to say "yes Mr President" and then Mr President is same as any other banana republic president.

So, if Genocide Joe orders a Navy Seal team to take out Trump in the cause of maintaining democracy, he's well within the "law"?

I haven't read the dissenting opinion yet but the Chief Justice's Opinion falls over self to trying and convince itself this was a legal and not a political decision. It fails.

I don't know about conspiracies but there is just no way Biden could be doing his job day to day. He is probably needing 20 hrs sleep at this stage.

Maybe, maybe not. Debating is a lot different from governing where they're surrounded by advisors and can take time to weigh and make decisions as opposed to trying to score points in the moment on live TV after major cramming sessions.

Regardless, the performance aspect is part of the job and, fair or not, Biden is past it on that front. Trump is a lying, corrupt, ignorant, amoral but dangerous and authoritarian buffoon, and Biden needs to stand down or Trump will be back for another four years.

Debates are really just an opportunity to show you can think on your feet or deliver a well timed clever one-liner

They really aren't an indication of one's ability to govern

Yeah, but since then, supposedly someone in the know hesitated when asked would you stick Biden in a room with Putin! Then you have the Times reporting he's at his best 10am-4pm or whatever it was!

Add to that that the obvious response to a debate horror show is to get out there, do a few tough interviews, and show the country that it really WAS just a bad night and not a typical day.

But he hasn't been seen, apart from a few short teleprompted comments.

IMO it's done. Biden cannot recover from this get re-elected, which means Trump WILL get re-elected unless Biden drops out. It might not work even then, but at least a young, capable candidate would have a fighting chance given the opponent.

I'm hoping there are some horror polls in the coming week which close the case for him and his inner circle. Unlike the Trump cult, it should be about the country and the party, not the person.

Ignoring everything else, Trump's tax reforms cost me about 9 grand the year he did it. Basically I could no longer claim mortgage payments on my home as tax deductible (which anyone could do for decades before). I don't mind paying more taxes if it's for stuff like education and housing, but I doubt that's where it went.
