Yeah, How did Utd get on against this Norwich team below them?  ;D

Didn't see any of the game but sounds like they played very well.
Looking forward to Match of the Day for a change!
Apparently they have the same amount of home wins now as all of last season.
Nordie Tayto is shite

Studge looking like the  player I knew he was! Love to know who is making the decisions at SB.

All those gloom merchants who questioned things under BR should take heed of these stats.  Liverpool are only 7 goals and 18 points off last seasons totals for tthe whole season woth 15 games to play. It is not unreasonable tp thonk the could achieve 65 points by the end of the season.   Woth a younger,  trimmer squad then you have to be very hopeful.   Norwich are poor but you can only play what's in front of you.   Suarez and Sturridge look good together and SG is showing good form.  Interesting few weeks with big games v City and the gooners which will realyy be the acid tests.

Hold your horses, Liverpool beat a topsy turvy Norwich side. Liverpool are a point behind last year totals with two games more played, so don't get too excited yet! YNWA

Sturridge first player to score in their first three games since Ray Kennedy in 70's

He is some player alright, who knows how good he will be when he gets a good run in the side.

Whats the story with Carroll, is he staying on loan?
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

Carroll has not played since November 28 and has scored only one goal since moving to WHU. Carroll signed on a season-long loan with West Ham United with the club having the option to make the deal permanent for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2013. Good business!  ;D

Tony Baloney

I owe Sturridge an apology. If he keeps this up he will be some buy.

It is not unreasonable tp thonk the could achieve 65 points by the end of the season.

It's not so much unreasonable as completely insane.

Liverpool have averaged less than 1.5pts per game this season, and 65 points would require better than 2 pts per game for the rest of the season.

Which is top 2 form.

Which is about 6 places higher than Liverpool will finish.

I'm not on a wind up by the way, but BCB there's a thing a called optimism and a thing called denial. You're in the latter!

By my reckoning in a like-for-like comparison with last season's games (I say 'my reckoning' because I assume the team that finished last in 2011/2 was replaced by the team who finished first in the Championship), Liverpool are nine points better off than they were last season. We still have some hurdles to clear - beating Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal would only keep Liverpool static compared to last season - but I think it's a better measure of progress than looking at the number of games played.

A small detail, but would you not replace the team who finished third last with the team who finished first in the Championship?

2nd half of the season should tell a lot. Liverpool's league form took a complete nosedive around this time last year. Hopefully we might finish a lot stronger this time.

ONeill

There's Utd and City.
Then Chelsea.
Then Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Everton. Liverpool are well capable of finishing 4th now.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.
