Happy with that, were the better team from the equaliser onwards.
3 of the goals scored by summer signings and another summer signing Kerkez also had a solid game.
Maybe the unprecedented summer of spending hasn't been all wasted 😉

Nice boost to the goal difference also tonight which could be important come the end of the season.
Need to keep it up now against Man City in next game.

Lovely moment for Konate.

Well I guess I'm astounded...excellent second half.

Delighted for big Ibou

Aaron Boone

A solid win. 1-0 down was uncomfortable but Ekitike double before HT vital.

Milltown Row2

Hopefully that keeps Slot his job, strange to think one's were looking him sacked recently
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Not really strange people question his job lost 9 of 12 and 5 wins in 18 after spending alot of money in summer. It's the world we live in unfortunately.

He won the league man! He's obviously a good manager but that's the fickle nature of 'fans' I suppose

I totally agree. Clubs are alot less inclined to give managers time these days. If he doesn't make champions league and starts next season poorly then he's in big trouble, but I would think that he will get to at least summer time, been a good week for him.

Look-Up!

Good result for Liverpool but hardly vindication of Slot's long term future.

Newcastle were very aggressive and it was free flowing as a result so that suited the very obvious talent the scousers possess. How they fare in the last 14 games or so when a lot of teams sit deep on them remains to be seen. I'd imagine it will be a continuation more or less of what we've seen so far from Slot's team. CL may suit them better where teams will have a go.

The good news for them is that last summer's transfer business is looking much better than it did a while back, with the only obvious boo-boo they made being the signing of Isak. That and not going all out for someone like Guehi.
But they have a very talented squad at their disposal, albeit ageing and lacking a bit of depth in a few critical areas but nothing can't be addressed with a few signings. I'm not sure Slot is the man though despite last year's achievement. Expectations are high and eaten bread is soon forgot. Plenty of dissenting voices on him so far from their faithful and if he doesn't qualify for next seasons CL, by whatever means possible, he'll be a hard sell.

💯
Yesterday was only one game, doesn't really change anything and doesn't mean anything really.
Could get a hiding to City next weekend.

Really need to get a right back in tomorrow, can't keep playing Szob there for the rest of the season.

Liverpool agree fee for French centre half Jeremy Jacquet. Though I've never seen him play I can confidently state he is the best centre half in the world 🤝

We beat Chelsea and United to his signature as well... Great bit of business!
