Absolutely bizarre, who was on VAR?
He needs to be demoted.
Tough game, 8 left.
Nothing won yet
Tomorrow is not guaranteed

J70

Good win in the end, and deserved after a good second half over an always tough, tricky opponent. Brilliant goal from Jota.

Four wins and a draw from eight needed to seal it. Hopefully that win will restore a bit of confidence.

Joke decision. When big Dunc is saying it's straight red then you know it's a bad one.

Liverpool have totally lost their spark. If they win the PL it will be by falling over the finish line.

Currently 12 points clear.

"Falling over the line." Good lord....

Bizarre. Knew exactly what he was doing. Tried to badly injure his opponent.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Take man and ball, good stuff from Tarky.. ;)

In all seriousness they let a novice lad at this level referee it and probably under pressure not to "ruin the game" by sending someone off so early on, although VAR really should have intervened.

As for the offside goal, by the letter of the law as it was explained on Sky, the referee was entirely right even if the pass was intended for Diaz coming from an offside position.

Tarky would have been better not touching it at all, but sure in the heat of the moment..

If only Beto had gotten better service, one goal ruled out for a very tight offside and then hitting the post full on the meat whilst up against the best centre half to walk the planet isn't bad considering the crap he'd to work with.

J70

It's a weird rule, that offside. Clearly Diaz wasn't offside per the rule as he visibly opted out of making any kind of movement to get involved in the play, but Tarkowski definitely reached for the ball due to Diaz being there.

Still think the most ridiculous example was the one a couple of years back when Rashford went to run onto a pass against City, realized at the last second that he was off, so he just left it for Bruno, who was onside and scored.

Mathematically correct for now but I think 7 points will be enough. Can't see Arsenal getting more than 80 points. Too many draws in them, they have CL to deal with plus Liverpool still to play.

Ask poor Kevin Keegan.

Agreed Arsenal will struggle to hit 80 points and about 7 points should be enough.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Orior

Liverpool definitely lost their spark and looked dodgy at the back.

Falling over the line is very appropriate.
Cover me in chocolate and feed me to the lesbians

quit yo jibbajabba

Won 5 drew 1 of last 6. A collapse to be sure

I think ones are maybe getting mixed up with 2 cup exits then a fortnight off due to internationals as a team losing momentum but hey ho
