Some teams are gonna try and drag it down to there level and beat you (or draw) on experience. Should have concentrated on the football as a one goal lead is always dangerous.
That would have to be the most celebrated draw ever in the Premiership.
I'm not sure who Liverpool were playing when Alisson got the header to get them Champion's League football the next year  but I can't remember the celebrations being quite that big.

It was WBA. No fans though.

And Liverpool at that point still had to go to Old Trafford to beat United and win the final game against Palace, I think, at Anfield.

Edit - they'd just won at OT. The win at Burnley came between the West Brom and Palace games.

Remember Everton had a celebration before for winning a corner in a derby so give them this....

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on February 12, 2025, 09:49:29 PMDidn't Klopp get his players to line up and cheer the fans after a draw?

Did he tell them to run over and scream at the WBA fans that day?

In his head it's the same thing, I'd just leave it tbh 😂😂
God knows what's going on in his head. Its not normal anyways.

Would someone think of the poor fans that were screamed at? Hopefully they got up today for work.. oh wait

Now now there MR!
Are you stereotyping?

Certainly not, having been going to Liverpool very regularly these past 3 years I'm loving the place, great food, great pubs and fantastic people with a heart of gold.

One of the better cities that hasn't ripped people off to eat, drink and stay in the place. My daughter is the one ripping me off though  ;D

This is just bantz, kick them when they are down, its funny how they call it trolling but when they do it its advice ;)

Main wind ups for "bantz" on this this thread is Liverpool supporters poor mouthing and still trying to talk up a title race. In reality no serious title challenger below chasing and the only real question that remains is how many games to spare Liverpool will win this league title by?

What I find funny is the self proclaimed King of the Bantz is probably the easiest person to wind up on here.  ;D

The day I take the person with 3 names on here seriously is the day I give up that title  ;D

Jeepers lads if you can't understand why Everton celebrated that, you don't understand football.

The last Merseyside derby at Goodison. Everton on the ropes as a Premier League club for yonks now, totally overshadowed by their neighbours. They were about to be humiliated one last time in a match they were totally psyched up for. They score a 97th minute screamer to avoid that. The atmosphere had been electric all night and that goal at the end was a collective sigh of relief.

If you can't enjoy those things, or understand them, the country's couped.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

quit yo jibbajabba

Not sure where that was said ONeill

I think the ire stems from the foul on Salah not given, possible foul on Konate, borderline offside, Oliver being a toot all night, Doucoure being a toot to the fans and then Milltown being also being a toot in general 🤣😋

As a Liverpool fan I agree with you, we should have played better on the night and a lucky bounce plus a cracking finish denied us.
I one goal lead is always dodgy when playing away from home with a dodgy Ref.
Or Lads have to put it behind them and get ready for Wolves.

Play a decent team v Plymouth last Sunday (who'll win) then the Everton game is simply a blip against a team fired up. Winning is infectious, there was no need for a full B team in Devon.

Lose against Wolves on Sunday and it's a full blown crisis with a banned manager.

I wouldn't be sure sure Arsenal and Forest can sustain the pressure for the remainder of the season. I'd rather see Liverpool finish strong than fall over the line but it's imperative the next match is a 3 pointer look ahead not back.

A full-blown crisis? Until Wednesday when they play Villa? Should John Henry be setting up an emergency board meeting for Monday, just in case?

Plymouth game has nothing to do with this. Slot made the right decision on that game. Even without the emotional circumstances of the game the other night, Everton away is always one of Liverpool's hardest games of the season (Anfield return game not so much). Even one of the greatest teams in the club's history, the team that finished with 97 and 99 points in 18/19 and 19-20 respectively, had frustrating draws at Goodison.

There is every chance that Liverpool could drop four or five more points over the next week or two. That doesn't make it a crisis. It is simply a product of an unusually tough run of games, partly down to two hard away games having had to be rescheduled.

And they're not up against Pep's peak City team, where even a draw amidst an otherwise long winning streak is fatal. Arsenal are an excellent side, but does anyone really think they're going to win out the season with those injury issues?
